I’m really disappointed as it was great. ### 1/5 — Deleted. *2021-01-18* Terrible app. When I search for blends and select the option to only show blends with the oils I have, it still shows results for blends with other oils that I do not own!!! The whole reason why I downloaded the app turns out to be its biggest glitch. DELETED. **Developer response:** Dear Slick, what it is doing is showing blends that contain the oils you have and other oils. In the search area you can choose to see only blends you can make with the oils you own. Thanks ### 1/5 — Unusable *2020-02-06* It’s Feb 2020, and the app looks like it was designed by a Windows developer in 2010. First, it’s not usable on iPhone X; the app doesn’t go edge to edge. Second, the UI is disappointing. Heaven help you if you find yourself on their IAP screen. The view is zoomed in the point where you can’t even read the offering. The main thing that drew me to this app was the wheel interface that allows you to pick oils for your blend. While it is interesting, it is not as intuitive as I originally thought. As a newcomer to aromatherapy, it is not clear to me what the different layers (green, yellow, red) mean. If you pick a blend by condition (let’s say muscular aches), some of the oils are just unreadable like black pepper or chamomile which are in the yellow layer. Also, the contrast of white text on a yellow background doesn’t make it easier to read. I can see this app certainly had a vision once but the poor UI and lack of updates makes it very frustrating to use. **Developer response:** Dear theevo, I think you have mixed up this app with another. The Aroma App does not provide the functionality you describe, specifically the wheel interface! ### 1/5 — Old fashioned and slow *2019-03-08, version 1.4.1* Clunky old fashioned design, really slow to load anything to the point of being useless and just generally rubbish! If they are not going to keep it updated I want the option to add oils and descriptions myself. ### 3/5 — A few more features needed *2018-02-11* The app is pretty good. There are few features though that I think could make it great! I'd like to be able to add single essential oils to my My Oils list. I have five single oils right now that aren't included on your list so it would be nice to be able to add them. It would also be nice to be able to mark My Oils with a star or dot or something to show the ones I use most often. Also, since they are pretty standard it would even be nice to be able to put in which size bottle I have of each oil and be able to subtract the number of drops I use so I know when it's time to reorder. ### 5/5 — Love this app! *2018-09-05* This a great app! I find myself referring to it several times a day, and upgraded to the premium version on the first day to have the oil profiles so I can easily see details about the oils and what oils go well with each oil. The only thing I would like to see added is the ability to see substitute oils for those times you’re missing an oil in a recipe. ### 5/5 — Great! *2018-02-10, version 1.4.1* There aren’t many reviews on essential oil apps so thought I’d leave one. This is great to use and easy. You can search on oil blends with only the oils you have which is useful.
