Overall sentiment: negative **Pros** - 🏆 Home town bank - 👍 Great app. Easy to use. All information at your fingertips - 👍 Great personal service - 💰 Get your Balance Online - 👍 Awesome Bank app - 👍 I love keeping track of my finances at any time I need to and this app allows me to do that - 👍 Wonderful knowledgeable friendly and helpful, Treat us as family - 👍 I do enjoy the app and online services. Can Zelle money to friends, deposit checks, add payees and pay bills - 👍 The new app is super easy to function! **Cons** - 🐛 I prefer the app functions prior to this one MUCH BETTER. Everyone keeps updating their apps that aren't broken and it takes more steps to get the same or worse results! - 🐛 Since the update, it no longer allows my face to unlock and many times, when I log in, it wants my phone number to verify. Not getting notifications for debit card use anymore. Absolutely hate this app since latest update - 🐛 I loved this app but then this last update I no longer can get notifications when my card gets used(which has helped me realize my card was hacked twice) I went to the bank turned everything on they said to and nothing. I don't know what happened. Also my Zelle no longer works on this app anymore. The new update messed all kind of stuff up - 🐛 Several times I know for sure that the money was in n my account and The Bank didn't process my son's student loan payment to Sallie Mae causing me to be late and accruing late fees. I have all the confirmation papers showing attempts to pay but the bank system never processed it. Anyone else with this problem - 🐛 App is so bad I switched banks, logging into it was a glitchy mess, and all I could do on the app was just check my balance and zelle money. No functionality, and it barely functions - 🐛 Horrible app!! It keeps making me reset my password and to do this I have to call The Bank. So I call, I then get a voicemail. This new app is making me want to switch banks. Tried complaining but was told it was just my account. If they can't get their act together on a simple app I am wondering what's going on there - 🐛 Shittiest app ever made. The old one was way better. You can't see when payments are do on loans. The accounts and loans are mixed together in some random order. It doesn't load up half the time. You can't see transaction history half the time. We use the online service weekly to check account activity, pay bills, and make transfers. The only negative is that we wish the debit card could do wireless transactions with pin pads. Also, if I ever have a question I call the main office and they help me with everything! Everyone keeps updating their apps that aren’t broken and it takes more steps to get the same or worse results! It only takes simple elementary math to balance a PERSONAL checkbook. It’s not like a business/corporate etc account. With the prior app when it showed a payment PENDING on the screen, you KNEW that the amount was already debited in the BALANCE shown above. Quick and easy and you KNEW this included ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING on the screen in debits and deposits. With this app, I once again have to balance my checkbook ON PAPER! I haven’t done this in years because the old app was pretty smart for a simple checking account! NOW I have to subtract the difference of my balance shown on the app to see which pending payments are NOT deducted in the balance since some pending payments have been deducted and some aren’t! There is a balance shown under some debits which is less than the balance above but I do not trust if the payment saying pending is included until I do the math myself! Why fix what isn’t broken? Also, some pending payments seem to linger longer than they use to. NOW, I once again, as in the days before computer, I not only keep a running balance written on paper but I also circle payments pending payments and those which aren’t due yet because pending has gone past other bills due. I have the date that each has cleared my account in my ledger! I’ve whited out several a few times from them pending longer than I have ever seen before! If I had a business, I could understand using this new system but for a one person account this takes more effort than I have time for in my busy life right now!
