But multiple times a week it just doesn’t work, makes you sign in a different way (even when Face ID is active), etc. ### 2/5 — All I need *2020-04-14* Thanks BOC for the app and the ease of using. And a big THANK YOU for Zelle. It’s so easy to transfer and request money from friends and family. Isn’t the idea to have banking on the go? Not so good if it can’t even log me in most of the time. Really needs to be debugged before releasing. Pop up screens do not scale to handheld devices and cannot be scrolled to view all information. ### 1/5 — “unable to process your request” *2024-04-16* The app doesn’t let me log in a good majority of the time. It will just say “unable to process your request”. It is super frustrating when I am trying to access funds to transfer money. I never have this issue with other financial institutions mobile banking apps. I love the Bank of Commerce, otherwise, but the app needs some serious work. ### 1/5 — Not great! *2023-05-14, version 5.0.20.1283* Had the app for maybe 3 days and it wouldn’t allow me to access my account at all. Repeatedly said, we are sorry you don’t have access right now. Try again later. I tried repeatedly over two hours but nothing. Also tried the actual website but wouldn’t send me a code and it all worked fine in the morning on that day. No where did the bank say updating or working on issues or the system was down. Not great if you can’t access it. ### 1/5 — Glitchy *2021-11-02* This app is just not good. I’ve had so many problems with it the past two years. I’ve had multiple times where I need to check my balance on the go and it just won’t log me in. I have Face ID and it never works. It scans my face and does nothing. It’s a bare minimum app that can’t even function. It’s honestly made me think about switching banks. ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2017-07-25, version 4.1.6.167* Very disappointed. There's no Touch ID AND I got a new phone and it refuses to log me in. Saying device ID not found. ### 1/5 — Locked out all the time *2017-06-03* I always remember my password but occasionally mistype it, after two failed attempts it locks you out of your account and you have to call the bank during business hours to unlock. Also they took away thumbprint identification, something I find very useful. ### 1/5 — Cost not disclosed *2017-05-09, version 4.1.6.167* If I would have known I was going to pay $29.99 for the online mobile app I certainly would have skipped that. The cost is NOT disclosed anywhere on the app or on the web site. Time to switch to a new bank. ### 2/5 — Worked great but something changed *2025-12-03* I have loved this app. I use it all the time. Suddenly it tells me that camera permissions have been turned off. I didn’t do this. It tells me to fix it on settings. I click the button and it takes me to a screen that says allow BoC to access these…camera is not one of the choices. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and tried again. No luck. I went to privacy on my phone in settings and then camera and there was no permission request from BoC to access the camera so there is no way to turn on the permissions. This app is next to worthless for me if I can’t do remote deposits. That’s the main reason I had it. ### 2/5 — Bugs Bugs Bugs *2024-09-24, version 6.0.5908* This new update has bugs in the app. One of the bugs is displaying the name of the container variable of the source code rather than the contents of the variable, which I would imagine is the name of the button you’re supposed to press. Another bug is the failure to display any accounts when you go to favorite and account. So this is definitely buggy for the time being. ### 2/5 — Glitchy and not easy to login *2021-07-22* Face ID does not work and regular login with I’d and password often does not work.
