## What is The Bedside?

Bedside is for the moment you need everyone close, fast.

When a loved one enters a hospice or end-of-life vigil, hours and minutes matter. Bedside lets one person, the Sender, send an immediate, unmistakable 'come to the bedside' alert to a circle of family and friends with a single tap.

WHAT IT DOES
- One tap on the home screen sends a push notification and SMS to everyone in your alert circle.
- Recipients get a clear notification with a one-tap 'I am coming' confirmation, so you know who is on the way.
- Status updates ('vigil started', 'can receive guests', 'come now', 'has passed', 'service details') let the Sender keep the circle informed without composing each message.
- A confirmation step appears before any alert is sent, so there are no accidental presses during a hard moment.

WHO IT IS FOR
- A primary caregiver or family member coordinating end-of-life presence for a parent, spouse, grandparent, or close friend.
- Hospice volunteers and lay chaplains who want a simple way to gather a vigil circle.
- Anyone tired of typing the same urgent message to fifteen people while in the middle of something else.

PRIVACY
- We do not profile you, advertise against your data, or share your contact list. Alert events are operational data only, used to deliver the message you sent.

- Bedside is free. Families are never charged to send or receive alerts.
