The pages won’t turn like they used to; which was the main feature for me, and the app keeps crashing when you turn the pages. ### 2/5 — eBible App *2025-08-22, version 4.0.4* I really like the eBible but the app just shuts down randomly and unexpectedly very often, especially when I’m trying to underline/highlight passages of Scripture and then requires me to sign back in. Very frustrating!!! Otherwise id give it a 5 star rating ### 4/5 — Please Update! *2025-06-07, version 4.0.4* This is by far the best Bible app I have used but it looks abandoned. Last update was 4 years ago. I love the layout and how it acts just like I am turning pages in an actual Bible. Highlighting in itself could be made easier. Unable to turn of the spoken version even though I’ve never set it up, and can only mute it by turning down my ringer. 2. Also pages will turn randomly every few seconds. 3. Logging out and signing back in used to resolve it but no longer. Update I emailed my concerns to the provider but they have never contacted me to try and resolve the problems which continue to frustrate me. When I first started using it, I was extremely pleased, but over the years it has diminished in his quality. When I first started using it, there was no charge to download certain versions of the Bible, now they charge you for every version. Also, the English standard version has the option of it being read to you. You get so many free samples of it then they charge you. I have paid several times to extend it so that I can have it read but it never works. No matter how many times you email no one responds. I’ve had to go to my bank and have them refund the money, not a good look. ### 4/5 — My Go-To everyday Bible app *2022-09-05, version 4.0.4* I use this app every morning. It’s so easy to navigate and super user friendly. It doesn’t get the full 5 stars because occasionally when I use the audio Bible, it just cuts out and the app shuts down. You then need to read the next 1 or 2 paragraphs manually before commencing with the audio function. Other than that, I love it. Having a download function to use offline would be even better, maybe as an added bonus for subscribers. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Have to keep logging in…losing all notes *2025-10-30, version 4.0.4* For many years, this was my favorite Bible app, but it has become very frustrating to have to login every time. I tried to email you at the email you leave in the app, but it got sent back that it was undeliverable. It would be nice to know if this is just a bug that you’re working on or if it’s a permanent aspect of the app. ### 1/5 — Definitely not owned by Christians *2025-10-19, version 4.0.4* This app has zero support. No one EVER responds to emails. With the recent update I am being logged out every time I close the app, which means I have to log in everyday and download my notes and highlights which takes ages. So when I created another account I have ads and no references. Also, the developer website does not exist anymore. When I did, I noticed that all of the notes that I have made over years have been deleted. The customer service is practically non existent as I have never had a reply to a few queries. Nothing changed, nothing new. Deleted and redownloaded, nothing. Emailed support twice, nothing. If you want the ad free version, $20. Then it took away Stong's, Matthew Henry, etc. if you want those, $12.99 each. Now I noticed they took away the different Bible translations and are charging $9.99 per version.
