The story and collecting aspects are fun, but to complete everything you need to pay. It would be fair if ad revenue didn’t pay enough, but I don’t know how much is generated. It teaches you some common mechanics and puzzles used in other such games. Although there is a bit of progression in difficulty, the puzzles are not difficult compared to what you will find in more advanced games, so it’s a fun and relaxing experience. Only the first two levels are free, and additional ones are a dollar or more each (one reason I dropped it down one star). But I see there are at least three separate Birdcage games available, so you can get a good number of free puzzles to work on, though the difficulty level does seem to plateau pretty early. You can also set the game to Augmented Reality (AR) mode, but the normal setting is perfectly fine.
