## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-03

Wind and weather, right on your map.

- Wind across the whole coast — arrows show direction and strength, and every spot now shows the wind where it actually is.

- Rain radar with a two-hour loop. Press play to watch a storm's track, or drag the timeline to any minute. The forecast half shows the next two hours.

- More map, less list. The spots list now slides up and down — drag the handle or tap "Show spots".

- One layers button for everything: map style, reefs and structure, wind, radar.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-18

See the tide, not just the numbers. The Today screen now draws the next 12 hours of tide as a live curve — where you are on it right now, your bite window highlighted, and every turn labeled with time and height. Each day in the 7-Day Forecast gets its own tide curve with dawn and dusk marked, so you can spot Prime turns at a glance.

Smarter bite windows, tuned to how experienced surf anglers fish: high-tide windows now open two hours before the turn, and the app knows when a window is still open just after a turn.

Your spots grew up too. Move a spot's pin by dragging it right on the map, delete spots you no longer need, and see each spot's tide outlook — its NOAA station and the next turns, tagged Prime, Good, or Fair — right on the spot's card. If the nearest station is on the wrong water (a lagoon behind an inlet instead of your beach), pin the right one yourself. And zoom in on the Spots map to see every pin's name.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-16

The Bite now picks the closest NOAA tide station to wherever you are — or wherever you're going. Drop a pin on any beach, save your spots, and get tides for that water, with the station named right on screen.

Plus: your best fishing windows now show Prime/Good/Fair ratings based on tide movement and light — on today's tides and across the 7-day forecast — and a cleaner Today screen that answers "worth going, and when?" at a glance.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-04

Share your catches with the community! Opt in when logging a catch and it appears in the Reports feed for anglers in your area — general area only, never your exact spot. See what's actually being caught near you, straight from other anglers.

Also new: tap the Bite Score on the Today screen to see exactly why conditions are rated the way they are, and create a shareable photo card from any catch in your log.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-21

Log catches your way: pick the exact date you caught it, add your own baits and lures, and record what rig you used. Your last catch location is remembered when logging multiple fish. Community catches now appear in the Today feed, and several Android fixes make editing and saving smoother.
