It’s perfect for foodies and discovering new places to eat. My only suggestion is to add an “All Reviews” option. In smaller towns, it’s sometimes hard to find reviews through the Explore feed, so being able to browse every review and follow reviewers whose opinions you trust would make the app even better. I’d love to see reviews from anywhere, not just what’s shown in Explore. Overall, it’s a great app with a lot of potential, and I hope it continues to grow! ### 3/5 — Keeps logging me out *2025-12-16, version 2.1.0* Right now I’m logged out and I tried logging back in and it’s making me start over with a photo name username etc I’ve done that already I’ve even reviews some places so what now I stay over? ### 4/5 — Rating system *2025-12-01* I’m not certain if the rating for one company goes for every location. But it appears that way. All 3 of the Hunt Brothers Pizza all have a 9.4 rating. I’ve had it before, it’s fine. But each location at a fast food chain will have very similar tastes and flavors, but it’s crazy that EACH location has the exact same score. The other option that I see being possible, someone who works for them rated them all fairly high. Less likely but still something that could happen Wish the people who used this could sort by local shops instead of national level chains. ### 3/5 — It’s almost helpful *2025-11-27, version 2.0.3* Got Biter because I follow Kev. Found a local restaurant with an 8.2 and clicked on it for more details. Restaurant is called LA Loud Thai and it says that Kev recommends. But the videos linked are about Amboy Quality Meats and some other places. How is this supposed to work? ### 2/5 — Breaks *2025-11-24, version 2.0.3* Every time I try to “trust” a person or add a restaurant to a list the app breaks and crashes and then I have to do the same thing all over again. ### 3/5 — Option to ADD a location? *2025-11-22* Theres so many good food spots that don’t show up on the app, I wish there was an option to actually help these small businesses by ADDING a location! :)) Like the app so far but it does bug so I have restart it frequently… **Developer response:** Hi! We would love to get any issues resolved to provide you with the best experience possible! ### 4/5 — Love the concept *2025-08-06* So far I’m enjoying this app. I especially love how you can add restaurants to your hit list directly from TikTok’s about them. My suggestions are to add a function where all TikTok’s related to a restaurant appear under the name, so you can see what reviewers had to say - what were their favorite items, did they note certain things about the restaurant, etc.? Similarly, it would be nice to have a “notes” section where people can add their own internal notes without posting a public review. I.e. if a friend mentions a place to me, it would be nice to jot down what dishes they’d recommend. ### 5/5 — The send to Biter feature alone is enough to download. *2025-07-23* I’m in love. Finally an app where I can save restaurants by just sending to the app and then I see all of those places on a map. Genius. ### 3/5 — Leave Reviews At Unrated Spots *2025-07-20* I’ve been trying to leave a review for a place with no ratings, but there’s no option to do so. If there is a way, it’s not clear. And if that feature doesn’t exist, it really should—especially for small spots that deserve more traction. Hoping this gets addressed in a future update. ### 4/5 — Needs more food locations *2025-07-18* There’s been many times when I’ve tried leaving a review or adding a place to my hit list but it’s not on beli, for instance VooDoo donuts. That place is very well known yet it’s not on here? That’s really my only flaw about the app, hopefully it’s just a “we’re still figuring things out as we’re such a new app” sorta issue” that they’ll improve soon. But what Biter has that Beli doesn’t which is huge is the map, I really love that feature ### 3/5 — Can you make it so you can create an account with a gmail address? *2025-07-15* Other then that, looks like a nice little app. But can’t make an account ### 5/5 — Biter works now *2025-07-14, version 1.8.3* The team reached out to me and fix the bug of me signing in. If I select a food reviewer, it takes me back to the explore tab after a few seconds. ### 5/5 — Concept is good *2025-07-10* I think this is where the older apps like yelp and Google reviews. Kind of get shut down a little bit. People who are actively looking for good reviewed spots will go on this app and see and try things plus also try new things out. Nvm the fact I’ve tried signing up a dozen different times and I can’t even get past the “enter your name and choose a username” part. Even when I close the app. It brings me right to the choose a username section that I can’t get past. I’m left with no other choice than to delete the app. ### 1/5 — 8itapp does it better *2025-08-21, version 1.9.2* This App is a rip of 8it and not as good. I don’t want to follow “influencers”. I want to follow trusted recs in the food world. Good idea Biter but someone did it first. ### 1/5 — not worth it *2025-07-06, version 1.8.0* I saw this app because of an influencer but after using it for a few days the AI can’t seem to locate most of the restaurants. It’s so much extra work u have to do to add it to your list. The AI will stay loading and not find the exact name or address of restaurant. I was hoping and excited to use this on my trip to chicago, but i dont think ill be able to. Absolute let down. ### 1/5 — My experience *2025-05-01* I’ve had a frustrating experience using the app. Despite selecting a specific location, the app consistently redirected me to other, unrelated locations that I did not choose. This made it difficult to use the app efficiently and caused unnecessary confusion. The user interface also feels unintuitive, and the overall navigation lacks the level of responsiveness and precision I expect from an app of this kind.Given the purpose of the app, I expected a seamless and accurate experience, especially when it comes to something as essential as selecting the correct location. Unfortunately, the repeated errors and lack of control over basic functionality made the experience disappointing. I tried multiple times I tried from my daughter’s phone as well. Seems glitchy. For certain restaurants, photos aren’t saving. Specifically for the three restaurants I reviewed when joining the app. I keep adding them but they never save.
