Events when accessed through a team wont let you view a team list or overall match list. It’s got a lot of helpful information, and the search function is good and it’s nice to get pretty quick updates on match scores, but the crashing just destroys the quality. It’s barely usable. Such a waste of potential that desperately needs fixing. ### 1/5 — I loved this app but it keeps crashing! *2019-03-17, version 1.0.7* I really did like this app and using it to keep up to date on competitions, but ever since I logged into the myTBA thing, every time I try to click on the app it crashes, and I can only access it when I’m offline. And when I try to log off in offline mode, it won’t let me when I’m offline, so the app has become useless at the moment. But other than that this app is great, and would definitely recommend (just don’t log into myTBA). ### 2/5 — Search is utterly nonfunctional *2024-03-06, version 3.1.1* I’ll preface this by saying this is specifically a review for the iOS app, not TBA as a whole The search function just plain does not work. Trying to search for a team or event will immediately show “No results found”, or a loading spinner that never stops loading. I’ve tried deleting search and network caches with no improvement. In addition, the TBA app is associated with urls for thebluealliance.com, and any links from, for example, Chief Delphi, will open the app instead of a browser tab. Which would be fine, except that those links only open the home tab of the app without actually loading the data from the URL. Trying to look at a team or event is frustrating when the app integration doesn’t work and I can’t use the search function to find it. I end up needing to either scroll through the list of all teams or events or just give up in frustration ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing after around a minute of use *2022-04-04, version 3.1.0* Love the app, works great when I can keep it open. Thanks. ### 3/5 — Great when it works *2024-03-03, version 3.1.1* I used to use the Android version which is amazing, “upgraded” to IPhone and the app loses a bunch of functionality, so that’s rough, the search for team number does not work, I get about 100+ notifications that we are on the second alliance, even when we were in finals, and even the next day after the event has ended. Will probably just have to install at the next event, and then uninstall once the notifications break again, just go and use the website version. ### 3/5 — Great app, but could use season updates :) *2022-03-12* It’s a shame that amazing apps like these have to be developed by community volunteers. I really appreciate the work of the volunteers, but volunteer work means you can’t expect quick progress. This app is still great for 2022, but it would be lovely to actually see Match Breakdowns for the present season instead of being asked to check the App Store for an update that doesn’t exist. **Developer response:** Match Breakdowns for the 2022 season has been added in the latest update.
