## What is The Boatlog?

Capture every trip effortlessly! The logbook automatically starts recording as soon as you press Start Recording — logging your route, speed, distance, top speed, and duration. It even pulls marine names from the harbor or location you depart from and arrive at, so every journey is documented with precision.
Your trip appears on a dynamic map, color-coded to show your speed along each segment. Tap anywhere on the map to see the exact speed you held at that point. All your trips are stored in one place, making it easy to search by date or location.
Keep track of your fuel use, too — a dedicated fuel log helps you record refills and monitor your consumption over time. You can even export everything to PDF and create a paper logbook if you prefer a hard copy.
During your trip, live wave height and wind conditions are displayed right where you are — giving you useful context as you go.
Please note: this is not a navigation app. The map is designed to visualize and relive your past journeys, not for real-time navigation.

Added the following features:
- abillity to add picture of your boat in the boat settings.
- added engine hours for starboard and port engines. Hours updates automatically with a trips duration
- Added the ability to change the name of trip or delete a trip by swiping on the trip in the log list.
- Trips are sorted by date.
- Log list and fuel list now have the filter by date to on by default to only show this years data.

Improved tracking and performance. Especially when the app runs in background. Added master checklists for departure and arrival. These checklists will be added to the trip and can be filled out at start, at arrival or later.

Added Ipad support (for best tracking use an iPad with Cellular connectivity). Added fields for tank capacity for fuel and water for the boat. New fields in the trip log for remaining levels of fuel and water. Added the ability to group several trips into one trip. For example if a trip has a duration of several days you can group several segments into one trip.
