## What is The Book App?

The Book is a private, invite-only city guide for San Francisco and New York City. Every member is personally vouched for by someone already inside — there are no public sign-ups.

Members share their favorite restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops with insider tips that only regulars know. No ratings, no noise — just trusted recommendations from people whose taste you trust.

Your feed shows only posts from people you follow. You find people through search or through your existing network. Every member starts with 3 invites to share, and earns more by contributing spots.

The Book is deliberately small and exclusive. That's the point.
