See how regions of the brain are affected by the different diseases that cause dementia including Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia and dementia with Lewy bodies.

Look closely at brain cells and discover research investigating brain changes in dementia.

Find out more about the symptoms and be immersed in an experience that brings the symptoms to life.

Watch the real-life stories of people affected by these different types of dementia.

Additionally, you can look closely at the healthy brain and how it typically functions. By knowing how different parts of the brain and their cells usually work, scientists can compare the healthy brain to brains affected by the diseases that cause dementia. This helps scientists to better understand the changes that cause dementia.
