I paid £22 a month as I wanted to try it before committing to a quarterly/yearly tier, and the value for money is non-existant. One match a day that doesn’t even match back is a strange concept: if the app is in charge of deciding who should match, perhaps doing so based on interests to allow better chances to match might help? Also, of all of the people I interacted with (which weren’t many considering the price), quite a few suggested meeting but not for breakfast, which defeats the purpose of the app. Not worth £22 per month, a lot more expensive than most other social apps out there, for not much value. The concept of breakfast is really great, but the system behind the app isn’t working. If one has to factor in the concept of “number’s game” in chances of matching with people, there needs to be a lot more people to match with than one person a day. Add to that people who bail, don’t respond or want to meet for coffee instead, the concept doesn’t hold. ### 2/5 — Not worth it *2026-06-04, version 2026.6.0* Wonky UI, support button doesn’t work, expensive ### 4/5 — Interesting bug for a company looking for investors! *2026-02-15, version 2025.27.0* Edit- they fixed it! Added more stars! Thanks - I paid for the monthly subscription and was surprised that the toggle button to be selected for a new match every day, turns itself off?! So you miss that day. I guess the aim is to get you to login daily and turn it back on again, but this is a ridiculous user experience glitch for an app that wants to be seen as mature and is seeking investors, when the basics don’t work properly! ### 3/5 — Not worth it for me *2026-01-29, version 2025.27.0* After signing up for 3 months, here is my honest review. The promise is great, the execution is imperfect. In 90 days I only got 5 matches in total. Majority of the times I had status “Still searching” and matched only every 2 days (I guess not enough people opening up for a breakfast). The worst part for me was that the app is founded by Ukrainian team (I’m Ukrainian), but there is no way to indicate my “deal-breakers”. I was constantly matched with russians, which in my conscious mind I’d never want to have a breakfast with. I repeatedly gave this feedback, and in 3 months it wasn’t heard. Hence after 3 months of no matches or matches with russians, I had only 3 breakfast and I’m more than happy to unsubscribe. It wasn’t worth it for me. Going to switch to Groupvibe app. ### 1/5 — Scam *2026-01-16, version 2025.27.0* You have one chance for day to arrange a meeting. Nobody answer. ### 1/5 — Spam notifications *2026-01-10, version 2025.27.0* The app is great, but you can’t manage notifications at all! There are a lot of notifications such as “this restaurant getting more popular” - I don’t care! Why I need this information 5-10 times per day?! And I can’t completely turn off notifications because can miss important messages from other user. Add notifications management in settings please! ### 1/5 — only one-month app *2025-12-19, version 2025.25.0* I paid for 2 months here. The first month was fine, I had a lot of opportunities and had few breakfasts with nice people. The app didn’t find anybody for me only 2 times. However, the second month was useless. There were 9 days when I had NOBODY out of 15 days. If you don’t have new users in my city, you can warn about it. But you charge me for 1 month and offer me only few breakfasts with people who I have nothing in common with. Besides, the application is too buggy, notifications don’t work, messages sometimes are not delivered. Your algorithms don’t work at all, people are matched absolutely randomly. The worst part is that I paid for this subscription to meet nice people, but you offered my a guy from russia, although my city is Lviv. That’s ridiculous! I have no idea why you spend days on checking new users’ accounts and then it ends up getting russian accounts in Ukraine. ### 3/5 — Doesn’t work without VPN *2025-11-21, version 2025.25.0* I assume this is not a dating app so I’m not sure why it doesn’t work in the UAE without a VPN. Concept is interesting and I want to try it. ### 3/5 — Thx for wasting my time *2025-11-10, version 2025.24.0* I’ve just spent 15 minutes on filling the profile to find out that my city (Copenhagen!) isn’t launched yet. I kind of understand the point of your politics, but maybe re-think the complicity of this path, because it is annoying. ### 1/5 — Disappointing and overpriced experience *2025-11-10, version 2025.24.0* The idea behind the app sounds nice, but the reality is very poor. You can only get one random person per day, and you can’t skip or choose who to talk to. The subscription is expensive for what you actually get just 30 random profiles a month with no guarantee of finding anyone relevant. It feels like paying for a lottery ticket rather than a real social experience. The design and usability also don’t make up for how limited it is. Definitely not worth the price ### 2/5 — Overpriced *2025-10-31* Great concept but overpriced for an app with not enough people yet. I tried it for one month, and on many days I didn’t get a match. On other days, it was random people I had nothing in common with. ### 2/5 — “Daily” is missleading *2025-10-19* I’ve been on this app for about a year in two of the most populated cities in the US. I keep the chancing round switch turned on daily, but it only finds a potential match every other day and in some cases every three days. I can count on one hand the times that it found a potential match on back to back days. This is a thinly veiled way to stretch out your membership fee. Because of this, I’ve had breakfast with maybe one or two people a month with a match that showed mutual interest or didn’t flake on me. Not really worth the money. ### 1/5 — Good idea, terrible implementation *2025-10-15, version 2025.22.0* They update the app literally every few days, forcing you to install the new version every time. Nothing changes however, the most simple and obvious bugs are still not fixed. The app also logs you out once in a while for no reason. These guys are currently gathering investments, I would not recommend investing there. They can’t do even the simplest app development right. ### 1/5 — waste of time *2025-09-21, version 2025.19.0* Total waste of time. Later app switched to 1 person per 24h and search begin in the morning. No options to refure Outcome? a lot of people click on "let's have a breakfast" and silence. they don't answers etc thinking if they didn't click the system punish them. rate of actual breakfast decrease for me by 70%!!! there should be solution for that! also, before having a filter set for search lead to better choices, I found a great people at that time who still in my life. after change - 50% of people treat app as dating or people choice would be very out of range. p.s. waiting when multi-people (4-6 ) breakfast would be a feature) ### 1/5 — Good but inconvenient *2025-08-13* Let me tell you why I gave this app a 1 star: I signed up for a month, went to 1 breakfast after fishing every other day. When I was setting up my second breakfast plan, it tells me I have to renew membership to access my chat because my month is up! Now I have to leave the other person hanging without even having the ability to let them know I have been taken out of communication. This app has too much corporate greed and less sense of community. Use TimeLeft instead, they don’t pee on you standing for money. ### 2/5 — I'm really tried, but no *2025-07-18* Guys, really, you have tooo difficult Questionnaire, but why?? But giving men my grandfathers age the opportunity to hit on me with their algorithm is just gross. ### 1/5 — Disappointing and Lengthy Onboarding with Little Value *2026-06-22, version 2026.7.4* The onboarding process was surprisingly long, requiring extensive personal details, almost like a dating app. After all that effort, the app had a paid model with no initial value offered. The UI felt unfriendly, and ultimately, there were no events or meaningful experiences provided. Meet a very interesting person, i felt comfortable easily. Hes been to breakfast a lit of time and I learned more about the app. ### 5/5 — Breakfast that never happens *2024-07-13* The app is great, they are always doing updates to improve the functionality. The concept of meet up is unique and intriguing. I like that it’s intentionally not free, to sort of gather people who actually going to participate. But in the big city like NY it doesn’t work. It back fires in NY since people pay for a subscription and then are too busy to text back. And when they do answer its to either just to chat or plan something they will cancel later. So far out of 12 people I got matched with, only 4 people answered and no breakfasts yet. **Developer response:** Daryagnat, thanks for the feedback! Next week, we are launching the Openness Dashboard, which will encourage people to be more open and proactive with getting their chances to breakfasts. It's okay that not every chance turns into a breakfast. Overall, the idea is to create a space that brings chance encounters on a daily basis, and you try to have at least one breakfast a week. I’ve met more than 20 people on Breakfast and at least 5 of them became my close friends. I’ve never seen anything so effective for me.
