## What is The Breeders NZ?

The Breeders is the app of the New Zealand Standardbred Breeders Association (NZSBA). It puts the things a breeder reaches for most into one place on your phone. Sign in with the email address NZSBA has on file and your member benefits unlock automatically.

FOR EVERYONE

News and Breeders Weekly. Stories from thebreeders.co.nz and each new issue of Breeders Weekly, with a notification when one lands.

Foster alerts. When a mare loses her foal, or a foal loses its mare, an NZSBA stud rep posts an alert and you get a notification straight away. Choose North Island, South Island or both so you only hear about the ones you could help with.

Test Mating. A six generation pedigree for any advertised sire and your mare, on live HRNZ data.

BredEX. Browse standardbred breeding stock for sale, lease or free, with no commission.

Leading sires. The official leading sires tables from HRNZ, Harness Racing Australia and Standardbred Canada, a tap away.

Events. Sales, seminars, the AGM and show dates, plus every group and feature race of the 2026/27 season, which you can filter by gait, age, sex, status and stake. Set a reminder for the day before.

Foaling calculator. Enter the service date and get the scan checks, the foaling window and the due date. Save your mares and set reminders on your phone.

Publications. Breeding Matters and the Sires Book, ready to read.

Standardbred Showing. The show calendar, the passport application and the rules.

FOR NZSBA FINANCIAL MEMBERS

Crosses of Gold. Which sire lines cross best with which broodmare sire lines, for New Zealand, Australia and North America. Works with no signal.

Sales results. Every NZB yearling sale since 2019 and weanling sale since 2021, by year, sale and sire, with price bands, top lots, trends and each sire's record year on year.

Stallion directory. Every stallion in the NZSBA Sires Book 2026/27, with his fee, stud, contact details, pedigree page and advert. Star one to hear when his fee changes or when BredEX lists one of his.

Member discounts. Savings at more than 50 retailers around the country through the NZSBA membership card.

Membership card. Your digital card, ready to show at the counter or the gate.

SIGNING IN

No password to remember. Type your email address, we send you a code, you type it in. Membership is matched against NZSBA's records each week, so if you are a financial member your benefits unlock on their own.
