Log a brew for any day
- The log form now has a date field, set to today
- Pick an earlier date for a brew you're writing up later
- Fix a wrong date any time by editing the brew
- Future dates can't be selected
- Repeating a brew always logs as today

Your log now tells you something
- One line under your name on Home — your average score, your best cup, the ratio your best brews land on
- It changes each time you come back
- Tap it for the full list on Stats, under "What your log says"
- Free: four observations. Pro: adds flavour notes, process, varietal and rest window

Filter your beans (Pro)
- Filter by roaster, producer, process, varietal, month added, or running low
- Picking something that only exists on a finished bag shows your finished bags automatically

Mark a bag finished from the list
- Long-press any bean bag and choose "Mark as finished" — no need to open it for editing
- The bag stays in your list so past brews keep their bean name
- Same menu reopens it

Smaller things
- New pour style: Shower, for Melodrip and Rain dripper
- Dates follow your region — "Aug 2" in the US, "2 Aug" elsewhere
- Fixed: web showed brew dates one day early outside Europe and Asia

1. Compare Brews
- Put two brews side by side and see exactly what changed to perfect your cup.
- Compare From Anywhere: Open any brew and tap Compare (via the ⋯ menu on iOS or ⊟ icon on web) to select your second brew.
- Quick Select: Tap Compare above your list, pick exactly two brews, and go! You can also long-press (or right-click on web) any card to trigger the same action.
- Spot the Differences: We've broken comparisons down into three sections—Bean, Recipe, and Outcome. Differences are color-tinted, while identical values fade back so your eyes go instantly to what changed.
- Smart Tracking: Missing fields show as a "—" (counting as a difference), and free-text notes sit cleanly side-by-side. We’ll even alert you if you’re comparing two different beans, so you don't mistake a bean trait for a recipe tweak.

2. Favourites
- Never lose track of your best cups. Mark the brews and bags that mattered most.
- Show Some Love: Tap the Heart on any brew’s detail screen or bean bag edit screen. You can also long-press (or right-click on web) any card to quickly Favorite it.
- Filter Instantly: Favourited items get a small heart on their card. Tap the heart icon above your brews or in the Beans header to view only your top picks.

- Insights (Pro) — five new views drawn from your own brews: your
sweet spot, how your beans rate as they rest, which settings you
score highest, how processes and roasteries compare, and the
flavours you find most often.

- Stats by time range (Pro) — the last 3 months, 6 months, a year,
or everything.

- Mark a bag finished — it moves out of the way, keeps its history,
and stops reminding you it's running low.

- Fixes — Renaming a bean bag now
updates brews you've already logged.

• Dial in your pours — mark each pour as Center, Spiral, Pulse, or Bloom, and log the valve open/closed for immersion brewers like the Hario Switch and Clever.

• Flavour notes get a fresh look — illustrations for every tasting note.
• More flavours to choose from — lychee, banana, blackcurrant, brown sugar, and others.
