No information to be found. So deleted app £1.99 wasted **Developer response:** Thanks for purchasing an app from our popular range. Thanks also for your feedback and for giving us the opportunity to provide a response. The observation of a missing feature is consistent with the omission of that functionality in the app description. You could create waypoints along the route to determine the distance. If you know the speed you’ll be travelling at then you can determine time using division (time = distance/speed). Hope that helps and you are able to gain some value from your expenditure. ### 1/5 — Rubbish *2017-07-17* Needs wifi to work, which if you've been on the broads is very hit and miss **Developer response:** The OS map and GPS related functionality don't need WiFi. However, WiFi is required to use Apple online maps, sharing location details via email and social media and import export of gpx files. If you would like any further guidance please contact us via our e-mail support accessible via our support web site. ### 2/5 — Needs a good internet connection *2017-10-25* Diddnt work for me as the Norfolk broads has limited internet coverage so while I can stream movies or google earth I find this map mostly doesn't have enough signal.it works ok if your near big towns or land based wifi..so lots of the broads has patchy internet on my iPhone 7 & iPad. I use 3 as a network & they are generally the best in that area. One other issue is despite brightness settings if your in the open air in bright light most screen maps are not great..ill just use a paper map & peek at Google Earth sometimes..better still take a satnav & you got speed too. **Developer response:** We have been unable to reproduce your fault but would appreciate the opportunity to work with you to try and resolve your problem. The one thing that as far as I can see that's missing, is the location of moorings! Last Wednesday, it was getting late, and I was getting desperate for a distance to a mooring. I need the location of free and private moorings on here!! Also, is there somewhere that lists the routes you have already plotted? I cant find them. I might be missing this, and it's actually on the app. If it is, can someone tell me how to find it please. Apart from that....Really good. **Developer response:** Thanks for the positive feedback. Re: you're routes query. The routes you've already created are accessible in list form via the right hand drawer user interface. Just pick on the drawer handle or swipe from the right hand side to the left. Also, there is a guide within the app accessible from the left hand drawer user interface. All the route management functionality is explained within the guide. The map detail combined with GPS and the excellent new route planning functionality (including gpx import/export) make this app a very useful aid to a traditional map and compass. 5*. 👍👍👍👍👍 ## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Great offline Ordnance Survey maps *2016-10-13* These are the best detailed maps out there and the route planning is the easiest to use from all the apps like this I've looked at. As you zoom in the detail increases right the way down to 1:10k. The comprehensive search and hill details is amazing too with every detail of every hill covered (I've not found a hill that's not included). ### 5/5 — Indispensable *2016-04-14* Brilliant app for Broads cruising - detailed maps and no need for a signal, which in the Broads is a huge plus. Also comes with a large-scale map for the rest of the UK which I can see coming in handy too. It apparently has a speedometer; great as as the ones on Broads cruisers are notoriously vague. I couldn't find it though. It's already a five-star app though. We always knew where we were and what speed we were cruising at, and could zoom in to see if it was a likely mooring spot, plus we never lost signal.
