Sometimes all you need is a simple periodic table...

The Chemical Touch: Lite Edition is a free and easy to use periodic table for your iPhone or iPod touch.  Consisting of a simplified version of the periodic table display from the full application, it puts the masses, densities, melting & boiling points, radii, and electronegativities of the elements right at your fingertips.  If you need more elemental information, touch the internet button to open the wikipedia page for the selected element.

For those who have already downloaded the full version, the only thing new here is a fancy icon for your iPhone desktop.  It's free though, so if you like Neon, you can display it on your phone at no loss other than space on your screen.

Its simple and has everything you need. I love it. Only thing it needs is update for iphone 5 and 6 screen size but dont change a thing! A++

This is the best periodic table app I have found. It is easy to use, looks nice, has a wealth of information, and works consistently. I personally love the fact that it has not been updated since it still runs great on a second gen. iPod Touch running iOS 4.2.1. That is rare thing these days.

"Merck PSE HD" is by far the best free periodic table app, I suggest you try that instead.

Nice app but there is no info on how to use it. :( The app support redirects to a website that can't be found. I would like to know what the square box and numbers next to the element info at the top of the page are meant to represent. Is it valence electrons. Disappointed :(
