Chord and Scale Finder is an interactive music theory and fretboard visualization tool for guitar, steel guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, dobro, bouzouki, oud and many other stringed instruments.

Originally developed to help steel guitarists navigate alternate and unusual tunings, the app has evolved into a powerful learning and exploration tool for musicians of all levels and musical styles.

Whether you are:

• exploring jazz harmony on mandolin or oud,
• experimenting with alternate tunings,
• studying scales and modes,

This version of the app contains a Dictionary Item for a Sam Cooke tune, Bring It on Home to me, that complements a YouTube video tutorial on the song.

### 3.5 — 2024-06-23

This version contains bigger fonts on iPhones for better readability.  It also includes a hexatonic scale on the Scale Page named the Dickey Betts scale in honor of the great guitarist's passing as he used it frequently in his playing.
