The last one, for instance, I did the "mystery" purchase and according to the app, I would have 2000 credits. When I went to play a game 400 came up. And that's not the only one. I think I have lost probably 10,000 credits because it either didn't give me anything or it shorted me. It's too bad because otherwise, I like the game and the varieties. **Developer response:** Thanks for your message! The credits are correct — the 2000 credits are at the $1 denomination, while the 400 credits you saw are at the $5 denomination. It’s just displayed differently depending on the game setting. Why is it so difficult to produce a poker app that will correctly give you the prize you are supposed to win in basic poker? Ridiculous **Developer response:** In classic single-line games like Jacks or Better, the payout structure is straightforward and easy to understand. When you place a maximum bet, which is typically 5 credits, and achieve a winning combination on the pay line, the game pays out according to the designated value for that combination. For instance, if the pay table specifies a 5-credit payout for a certain combination when you bet the maximum, and you hit that combination, you will receive 5 credits. ### 1/5 — Do not download this game. *2024-02-10, version 5.3.0* The odds are rigged against you. You would have a better chance going to a casino and playing slots for an hour. Total money grab and a scam. I played thousands of hands on here, and I got three flushes and maybe ten straights. The game VERY specifically ensures your main hand is never a good one. When you run out or credits on here, enjoy getting 50 free a day on login until you replenish to the 10,000 you start with unless you’re paying for more. **Developer response:** We understand that it can be frustrating not to get high-ranking hands often, but please remember that this is part of the game’s randomness and does not indicate any bias in the game design. Each unseen card has equal chance to be selected. The cards you receive in your main hand are determined by a random number generator. This ensures that each hand is independent and has the same odds as any other. ### 1/5 — Great game *2022-03-22, version 4.6.0* Love getting 4 of a kind! ### 1/5 — A total scam - don’t download. *2022-03-18* This game seems to have taken casino odds (which pay out slightly under $1 for every dollar wagered) and tightened them up considerably. I’d say the average payout is closer to 80% per hand, which means you plummet toward zero very, very quickly. All that would be fine if it were just fun and games. But no - these people want to make money from their terrible app. You start out with 10,000 credits (supposedly a $6.99 value!), and when you inevitably lose them, your only option is to buy more credits. So if you want to keep getting your a$s kicked by an obviously rigged video poker game, you can throw in another $7 to just… start over? I see that the developers are incredibly aggressive in responding to comments, and they may chime in here about how their odds are “fair,” but here’s the reality: there’s no possible upside (even if you somehow win, you can’t get real money back), you inevitably will need to pay real money in order to play for more than an hour or two, and the game itself is no different from the plastic, handheld video poker games from the 90s (except those weren’t rigged to steal your actual money). This game should be removed from the App Store - it’s a scam. **Developer response:** All what you said is absolutely false.
