When I get back onto the app to read where I’ve left off from the ‘back to current’ button doesn’t take me to the current verse. I have to scroll all the way down to find it. We have the technology. 2) the entire audiobook (all the surahs, intros and sub-chapter headings) go just over 22 hours, and are +5GB in total; uncompressed 24-bit PCM audio seems unlikely and I have to question whether it’s necessary to have a single surah be nearly 1GB on its own (I had to offload the app a couple of times due to the failed download, but also didn’t want to re-download the other 4GB in audio files). Overall it’s a 6GB app. Look forward to these changes. ### 4/5 — Great but… *2026-03-08, version 3.0.6* I really love the audio narration. The only issue, and the reason I gave one less star, is that the narration will stop after a surah and not autoplay the next. I am even unable to make it play with the play button. I either have to close and reopen the app OR skip ahead and then back. Very frustrating and definitely not ideal when trying to listening while driving. The translation is technically not wrong, but alot of the time the wording doesnt give you a good grasp of the true meaning of the verse. Other than that, its an amazing app and format. If the translation of the Quran was more honest, i would give this all 5 stars. Altering the verses of god is a big deal ### 3/5 — Download options *2025-11-30, version 3.0.6* Seems like there's no download option for entire Quran audio at one go? ### 5/5 — Worth every penny! *2025-09-01, version 3.0.6* I have been a huge fan of the app before the major update it got, but after the big update I immediately purchased my lifetime subscription. I have purchased numerous audible versions of Quran English translations, and non of them ever come close to the quality of the Clear Quran audiobook. The app works smoothly and added feature of searching through text makes the experience all the more seamless. The only problem I have with app is that it requires you to be connected to the internet to confirm your subscription. Otherwise, you only get access to the free samples. I don’t always have an internet connection available, and I really download Suras to listen to them offline so I don’t have to use my data on when I’m flying where I don’t have access to the internet. This makes the download feature feel pointless. Even when connected, the app crashes often and audiobooks won’t play properly. The idea of the app is great, but the execution needs serious improvement. Both times it charges my card and the app does not unlock the surahs. I have spent days going back and forth with their IT and other individuals and they can’t resolve the issue. Last thing they told me ‘that invoice is from apple follow up with them’. The app is purchased on an apple phone via the app store ofcourse the invoice will mention apple. It’s given me a lot of confidence as someone who does not speak Arabic because, with this technology, i can finally understand the meaning with so much ease, also as a revert who struggles with focus due to ADHD, and whose schedule and mind constantly running. Having it as part of my daily routine reminds me of my greater purpose allowing me to zoom out of my constant scattered thoughts and reflect. The main narrator has a calming voice (I’m an avid audiobook consumer and a narrator can make or break the experience). I can tell care and effort was poured into the recording and editing. As a creative, I know there are a lot of pieces that tie into a seamless body of work like this, and I hope everyone involved knows that work is noticed and appreciated. There are transitions with multiple voice actors when the Qur’an is quoting someone and section headings (not a part of the text) are recited to ease the transition into new topics or shifts in perspective within each chapter. Much work was put into polishing this audio rendition of the Qur’an’s translation and it allows for non-Arabic speakers to understand some semblance of what it means to hear and understand the Qur’an through oral transmission. There is a subscription required for access to all chapters, but Fatiha, Kahf, Yasin, Mulk, Ikhlas, Falaq, and Nas are available for free.
