Life happened and I forgot until the much higher fee was deducted, without any prior warning or reminder to allow me to fully choose whether to continue. After cancelling, I reached out to request a refund, given the circumstances, and in a poorly constructed reply, was told terms and conditions do not allow. If The Coach truly cared about its customers, it would remind them of upcoming payments and show flexibility with refunds. Be wary! **Developer response:** Hello, Donna! His version of the app costs roughly $10AUD and you get a week’s free trial whereas this version advertised towards women costs $20.99AUD for the month and you only get 3 days free trial if you sign up on a yearly plan. This is yet another form of sexism. **Developer response:** Hello and thank you for reaching out about such important topic. We have different ways of distributing the app: as in-store purchase (with a trial and annual plan) and as web-purchase at our website (6-months plan max, wider spectrum of offers, no trials). And it seems you've made a purchase via Apple App Store while your partner got his plan from our website. As said, we have many different offers running for our web-purchases, but set of plans (in terms of prices and duration) for male and female app are identical there. The trial duration may also vary depending on a purchase, but for the same region and same platform (iOS or Android) we have similar trials for male and female version of the app. So, I believe here's some misunderstanding going on: but without taking a look into both of your purchases we can't tell for sure. But it's certainly not the difference between male and female versions. ### 1/5 — Keeps charging me *2026-08-04* I only paid for the 1 month for 10 dollars. And now I can’t get away from payments no matter how much I cancel it, the subscription doesn’t show. And now I’m being charged 40 dollars when the 10 dollar thing was supposed to and was marked down as a one time thing. Do not sign up for this. Was not helpful when I used it, and now they won’t stop charging me. They also don’t tell you the amount they are charging is in USD. Liars. As we state openly, our subscriptions can be cancelled any time, and you won't loose your progress and access until your paid period expires.
