FIX IT OR TAKE IT DOWN *2021-12-26, version 1.01* Awful!!! Everything about this is wrong! Every answer that was said to be correct was in fact INcorrect!! I could hardly believe what was happening so I checked the ratings and it's not just me.... FIX IT OR TAKE IT DOWN ### 1/5 — English must be your second language, Mr. Yoo or maybe it’s mine. *2021-11-10, version 1.01* Why would apple allow this type of game to be published on here ? I can’t believe how wrong this is! I must have been in the wrong English class throughout school. You should learn the different meanings for the same sounding words, Your program is so wrong… or English must be my second language. ### 1/5 — Doesn't even deserve 1 star *2021-10-26, version 1.01* Very first question, which is correct "boxes" or "boxs" and it told us "boxs" was the correct one. Second question had the same problem. I did the exact actions, and was told my answers were wrong. Then after trying so many times a add popped up asking for me to purchase more tokens! Ridiculous. This game needs to be taken out of the Apple store. ### 1/5 — Never correct *2021-09-12, version 1.01* I never write reviews but as a teacher, I am HORRIFIED by this game!! 😡 I am usually very good with grammar and spelling-was raised my English majors-and I lost all five of my lives on the first two questions!!! The plural of box is BOXES!! (It tells you “boxs” is correct!!!) The second question is “by the park” It is also wrong! It wants you to put buy as correct! Please don’t let your children use this app as grammar practice!!!! Please take it off the App Store before it affects someone’s incorrect learning!!! 😩 ### 1/5 — BEWARE STAY AWAY!! *2021-08-13, version 1.01* For someone who is genuinely trying to learn correct grammar stay away. Many, many of the answers on this app are incorrect. In my opinion, the app would truly confuse younger children and do considerable harm to what they may have already learned about grammar. I agree with the other reviews that giving this a 1 star rating is being VERY generous. It doesn’t deserve it. ### 1/5 — The App DOESN’T know GRAMMAR! *2021-08-05, version 1.01* I enjoy grammar and reading someone use the wrong verbiage is like nails on a chalkboard. I thought it would be fun to test my knowledge. It’s hard to use an application that has no clue of grammar! The first question was the plural of box, which is BOXES. I selected the word and told I was wrong and a point was subtracted. When I selected BOXS (wrong answer) it said I was correct. This is a sad joke. I thought I’d try again and went to the next phrase. Come —- the park later. The correct answer is BY. Once again, my answer was marked incorrect. It’s going to harm someone who’s really trying to learn. Back to the drawing board developers. If I could have given minus points to you I would have. A 1 is overly generous. ### 1/5 — Illiterate app *2021-07-30, version 1.01* DO NOT BUY!!! 8 out of ten answers they say are right are actually wrong. One of the sentences was “stop ___ the park…” The choices for the answer were “Buy… By… and Bye” they said the correct answer was “Buy”. What?! I hope people trying to learn english don’t count on this app to do it!! Unbelievable!!! This app needs to be removed from the app store, it’s a joke!! The developer obviously doesn’t know even basic 2nd grade grammar. ### 1/5 — INACCURATE GRAMMAR-NO STARS *2021-07-27, version 1.01* Sang Guun Yoo, You developed an English Grammar game without proper knowledge of the English Language. On the first three questions of the game, I chose (not choose) the correct answers (not answer) and your (not you’re) game is showing ANSWERS that are INCORRECT, as well as WORDS that DO NOT EXIST IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. For example; the plural of box = boxes but your answer = boxs, which is NOT EVEN A WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. There (not their or they’re) needs to be procedures in place so this doesn’t happen. (See how this works?) ### 1/5 — Grandparent *2021-07-26, version 1.01* This is a terrible game, it gives the wrong answers. Like, Come by the park later. It gives the answer as , Come buy the park later. As if you are to come and purchase the park. This game could really hurt a child as far as education goes. You really should take it off. ### 1/5 — No Stars - DO NOT DOWNLOAD *2021-07-10, version 1.01* This is a terrible grammar game. It seems to purposely give the wrong answer as correct. For example, what is the plural form of the word box. The correct answer is boxes. It selected boxs. I went through several different questions & as I said it seemed to purposely select the incorrect answer. DO NOT use this game to help you with your grammar. You will look like an imbecile. It is a shame because the structure it uses is great…giving simple sentences where you choose the correct word to use. However, if it doesn’t know the correct word, that doesn’t help the one playing. Correct the answers or don't expect anyone to keep playing. Every answer I picked was marked wrong. It shouldn’t have been. Write was marked correct when it clearly should have been right. The wrong use of by was also used. Question 1: plural of box = boxs not boxes which is correct but tells you it’s the wrong answer! Then, it continues with “We are going to stop —— there on our way home.” The app says the correct answer is “buy” when it is clearly “by”...ignorant!!! I downloaded it and it asks plural for box then says boxes is wrong and boxs is right. It then said that came by the park was wrong instead that came bye the park was right. The answers they accept as correct are WRONG. This app will teach unsuspecting English grammar learners the wrong answers. Those learners won’t know what they don’t know. They will look like idiots if they use this app to learn the English language. I suggest the obviously Asian-based developer stick to their Asian native language and stop interfering with the English language learners. To English language teachers, this developer looks stupid. Every answer told me I was incorrect when in reality it was the correct form I had chosen. Perhaps in your game you need to reword the question to: Which is the incorrect form? Or just debug it! It has coding errors if your intention is to teach correct grammar. However, after the first two sentences I discovered that this app is ALL wrong! “Come ___ the park later.” I used by but the game said it was wrong. It said to use buy. Buy means to purchase.
