This is especially true while traveling family members who live in distant places are home. It is an opportunity to give them another taste of home before they have to return to their lives away from Acadiana. This app hasn’t updated availability or prices since June 2024. I gave it a 3 because of at least having the locations that sell crawfish. But if you’re going to have an App that purports to be a quick easy search engine for local availability and current prices, it needs to be updated at least weekly. Many vendors haven’t updated their prices, so for half of the vendors it says “Price Unavailable” or has prices listed from a few weeks ago. Plus, there are vendors in my neighborhood who aren’t listed, and there is no way to add them and update their prices. Finally, the app review button needs to say “Review this App” because most of the app reviews are from people who are trying to review vendors. This means the vendor reviews aren’t linked to their profiles, and results in inaccurate ratings for the app itself. Terrible UI flaw that appears dishonest!!! **Developer response:** We now allow user to update prices! Please checkout the latest version to try it out. Also vendors put up price unavailable during the off season when they no longer sell crawfish. Check back when the season start up again. I will certainly look into the review button content and look at how we can make it more obvious for people.
