### 4/5 — I do love it, but…

*2024-12-26*

Been playing for 4 years now, back when it was coin hunt world. Really miss the crypto earning but it’s still a fun game. My only thing that’s really frustrating me is that there are no post offices that are tagged around me. It would’ve been 5 stars and I’d play it a lot more if I was able to have a vending machine near me. I seem to be the only one left in the Toledo area playing still too so it makes it very difficult to finish events because I only have my structures to collect from. Can you please get more, or ALL, post offices to be tagged so we can make more progress. Possibly even do the adventure pass for once.

### 1/5 — Not for you

*2024-10-25*

The game as it is, is not for you. Come for building? It’s in an alpha stage, where sometimes the distances make sense (200m access, or a reasonable amount for safety) while others it’s not (50m, with GPS drift that can mean nowhere). It relies heavily on game tags that don’t move, are a small fraction of those that players need, and aren’t available in most areas.

Ok, maybe you came for the fitness aspects. If you are on a pixel (not the 7 line), and run, you can complete the walking goals in about 90 minutes. Less driving for some reason. But iOS? 150 minutes is the low end, walking, and far higher driving. Content is deeply uneven, and extremely limited in what can be built by any given player. So it’s not going to be exciting this way either.

Events are designed so you need about 5-10 bots playing via emulation in your area, or you can’t participate. No joke, the game really only wants you to succeed if you put in a part time or more worth of time and effort, as well as have a large group playing at the same time along your walking routes.

In short, no matter what draws you in, the game as it stands is not designed for you. Hopefully it will end the “group” events and focus on game growth one day: that is, focus on the rural solo player since right now that’s what playing in a top global city feels like.

### 5/5 — Great game

*2024-10-23*

Really fun game, got me of the sofa. Open world gameplay like Pokémon game, great for kids and adults and all the family can play.

### 1/5 — You should pass

*2024-10-20*

3 1/2 years of following the company, and I no longer feel anyone new should play this game. If you drive while playing, for hours a day, it’s fine. But the basic game is no longer a notable draw for getting players out to walk, without many caveats.

### 1/5 — I *Still* Want to Believe

*2024-08-27*

There is some of the game that's solid, makes me want to get up and go for a walk. It works well enough for minimal entertainment while out for a walk with the stroller or jogging.
But all of that exercise has sets of costs I would avoid otherwise in life, which means to me, since I incur costs just to play routinely, it's functionally a subscription game. So, it takes investment more so than a regular game to dig into it, and only works if your base route is good enough for you.
Anyway, it’s rough and design pivots seem to be more common without compensation or meaningful refunds when it happens. Content is sparse too.

### 5/5 — I want to believe

There is some of the game that’s solid, makes me want to get up and go for a walk. And that exercise has sets of costs I would avoid otherwise in life, which means to me, since I incur costs just to play routinely, it’s functionally a subscription game.

Anyway, if you skip over things like building and any collecting, the trivia and chance for $10 gift cards can make for a nice idle game to enjoy likely while out for a walk.

### 5/5 — Good stuff

*2024-04-10, version 2.0.17*

Great game, with a strong community base for years now. The team behind it responds well to players insight and continues to evolve the experience. Get rewards for walking!

### 1/5 — Waste of time now

*2024-03-06*

It was great when they automatically converted cubie coins to crypto. There’s no way now to convert to any currency and it’s been that way for a very long time. Don’t waste your time, it’s become a scam.

### 5/5 — Events for drivers: daily gameplay for walkers

*2024-03-03*

Hi! I change my mind often on the game as I enjoy the daily loop of going out for a run (~120 minutes) to do the walking goals and solve the trivia. I see the auction house and builder as different types of puzzles that, while both are fairly rough, have the basics down for some gameplay.

So I enjoy my daily loop as I can get out to do it: take a walk with the baby in the stroller or an early morning run.

In short, I’ve looked at what there is and found what works for me and focus on that. I think for many this is what could be enjoyable, but it’s hard to see because of what I dislike.

What I dislike is that the game events are, so far, all focused on players using a vehicle to drive past the areas that others have been building up. There is a total lack of reward for working the hardest via walking or running, or putting money in and building. The rewards are all geared towards those driving to the areas others have been putting in efforts to plan, collect the resources, pay for the crystal keys, and build up. If this is something that might bother you, then at this time the game is not for you.

### 1/5 — Drive and live in the right area, or don’t play

*2024-02-12*

Who is this game for: those living in the right areas and willing to drive.

Who is this not for: someone who walks and wants motivation, because every exciting event will remind you that you need to drive to succeed.

In short, at this time the game isn’t a good choice for anyone. For reference I’ve managed to scrape into the top 50 globally most months, walk exclusively, and cannot complete a single event.
