### 5/5 — Very nice

*2017-02-03, version 1.0*

Great way to spend an evening. Straightforward without being maddening.

### 1/5 — Wow

*2016-11-21, version 1.0*

Can Big Fish do ANYTHING without witchcraft? The little symbols throughout most of their games are clearly evil and wrong for anyone.

### 4/5 — Curio

*2016-11-05, version 1.0*

Short game, short review. Other reviewers have mentioned the color, story plot, and collectibles, etc. I felt the plot was a little thin, but interesting. My biggest complaint was the minuscule length of the game, and the bonus game was like a small mid-West town: Blink and you miss it! PS-I never review a game until I have completed it, but thanks to those who quickly and thoroughly review new games! I never buy a game without reading at least 3 solid reviews, and Big Fish only keeps new games at a reasonable price for 3 days.

### 4/5 — Enjoyable, diverse and not too creepy

*2016-11-05, version 1.0*

Some of the BF games of late have been a little too creepy for me. While I don't always want to be a princess, I don't want to be a homicide detective either. This game has a nice balance of suspense and eeriness without venturing into true horror.

You've most likely already read the reviews about the storyline and the land of Emoless--so I'll get right to the game itself.

Fundamentals are good. Voice overs, cutscenes, graphics, labeled inventory, teleporting map, collectibles, etc. are hard to argue with. Good against evil main plot is fun, too. Minigames are fun and diverse, albeit pretty easy.

I didn't play this until after the sale was over, but given the short length, the lack of originality in some of the puzzles, and ease of puzzles, I don't think it is worth the full fare. If it were discounted again, I would recommend it, but I can't do the same at full price.

Good wishes to all. 🍂🍂

### 4/5 — Really a 3 1/2

*2016-10-30, version 1.0*

This is relaxing lay easy until the end when it just got boring. The puzzles repeat too often. Don't pay more than $3.99 and wait for a rainy afternoon.

### 5/5 — Good game

*2016-10-24, version 1.0*

Entertaining, fairly smart, enjoyable. Worth $3.99.

### 5/5 — Good Game

*2016-10-22, version 1.0*

Chocked full of interesting things to do. Enjoyed this one. Recommend.

### 4/5 — The Curio Society: New Order by LynxMinx

*2016-10-21, version 1.0*

Finally BigFish has given us a decent game! The storyline was different and interesting. You could customize settings. The graphics were bright and colorful. There were plenty of locations to unlock, and at each location there were various collectibles, including notes, Rorschach cards (which you later use to take a personality quiz), medical dossiers and morphing objects. There was a marked, if so customized, teleport map to transport you. Loading was not instantaneous between locations but the lag time was short. The game was lengthy enough and had a bonus adventure. There was no actual journal but objectives were regularly updated. Inventory was labeled, interactive and there were complex items to assemble. There was plenty to do at each location. The HO scenes were of various types, and some seemed more like puzzles. You also had a match-3 option if you didn't want to play the HO scene. There were many puzzles/games; however many were boring rotational types. However this game was good enough that it didn't matter! The gameplay was smooth for the most part, but at times there were a few small glitches.
I deducted a star due to lack of a cohesive diary, slight lag time during loading between locations, and the lack of originality in puzzles. Can we please have fewer rotational puzzles and more logic and code-breakers?
In any event I still enjoyed this game immensely and my true rating is 4.5 stars! I am so glad that there are some good games out. I was starting to wonder if it was me! Of course not! It was BigFish! Hopefully the new Amaranthine Voyage is going to be fabulous!
Lynxie sends ❤️💋😘 to the DTE, especially Dracyy and KimTwilight, my amazing reviewers. Also I send a big shoutout to Izzyoc, Sunshine Susie, Opinion, and Catalinas. Please keep up the great work everybody! We need to keep BigFish on their toes!

### 4/5 — New Order

*2016-10-19, version 1.0*

This is a very good good, no issues.

### 4/5 — "I Want To Feel" Good About This One! I Kinda Do!

*2016-10-18, version 1.0*

A sense of escapism is integrated into the theme with an absurd and peculiar twist: the world is on the verge of impending doom stemming from the risk of losing all sense of "feel." Some of us probably wouldn't mind a bit of that, huh? The graphics are short of spectacular with a granulated, bread-crumb-like quality; they lack finesse and illustrate an unpolished touch. The opalescent and prismatic color tinges radiate out against the darker, monochromatic background to exude an enigmatic and mystical aura. Some immersive animated touches are mixed in, which initiate upon touch, such as clock hands spinning around; windows lighting up; and leaves dropping from trees. You can customize your settings; options are standard. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The map briskly sends you to labeled locations and indicates available actions. Transition is fleeting and uninterrupted; no glitches or lapses. The HOS are highly demiurgic and visionary with current-trending, transitional sequences, in which one particular format introduces a contrasting format; they incorporate puzzle-like elements, and their informative aspects contribute to the story. I love the scene where you find items by switching the lights on or off. So far, the puzzles are mostly mechanical in nature; namely, forming pictures by sliding segments and order-based types. The collectibles are fairly conspicuous in placement; you have two indicators on either side of the inventory bar to keep your progress updated. One negative point is that the main components are cramped tightly together in a corner, which is a hindrance; consequently, one might accidentally tap the incorrect function. In addition, we are denied a journal again; rather, parcels of notes are acquired. Overall, this is one of the more interesting games in a while.
