I made the mistake of downloading it, and it is unreliable. It takes a long time to download new editions. This morning, I am unable to download the edition at all (I even uninstalled and reinstalled to app to no avail). It’s frustrating being a paid subscriber and not being able to access the paper. I was able to open the edition on my phone because I still have the old app installed there, thank goodness. I downloaded the app to be able to read on the go and on days when I don’t receive a physical newspaper. This is low tech enough for me that I’m satisfied it mimics the experience of the physical paper. I used to get Washpo app, but switched to the Daily Item for local events and news. Their paper is a good quality for a local paper trying to showcase some slightly more liberal viewpoints, but also showing both sides. I recommend the Daily Item over the Williamsport Sun Gazette, but they cover slightly different regions.
