However, I’ve adapted and I actually enjoy the online format of The Daily Journal. It’s user-friendly. I print out my daily crossword puzzle 😉. I didn’t give it five stars because there is close to zero local news. The Daily Journal used to be a true hometown newspaper - On the Record police blotter, Round Our Town, Births, Engagements and Local Events. For the past several years, I have no idea what goes on in my own town anymore. Somehow, only local Obituaries are still published in the regional newspaper , so why can’t other local news that has been discontinued also be included? ### 5/5 — Daily Journal App *2022-12-18, version 3.6.13* Works well and easy to use! ### 5/5 — Easy *2022-08-20, version 3.6.13* I switched from print to digital version. I am no longer a Vinelander, however, being able to keep in touch with my birthplace and where my children grew up is important to me.
