## What is The Daily Question?

One question a day. You type the answer — there are no multiple choice options to guess between.

Then the part that makes it worth coming back: every question explains itself. Why the answer is the answer, and one detail worth keeping, on all 1,061 questions in the app.

TODAY
A single question, the same one for everyone, chosen for the day. Answer it, read why, come back tomorrow. Your streak counts the days you showed up, not the days you were right.

QUICK PLAY
Five questions, mixed topics, about two minutes.

TOPICS
Eleven of them: science, arts and literature, geography, technology, history, entertainment, food and culture, nature, sport, business, general knowledge.

WRITTEN ANSWERS, FAIRLY JUDGED
Type what you know. Spelling close to the mark is accepted, a near miss is told apart from a wrong answer, and a near miss never counts against your accuracy.

CHECKED BEFORE IT SHIPPED
Every explanation was written, then independently checked against sources by a second pass, and repaired where it failed. A wrong answer key is worse than no explanation at all.
