The layout and functionality is good but the crashing needs to be fixed ASAP ### 2/5 — Content seems good.... *2021-02-03, version 4.9* But the app was barely usable. But it was constantly freezing up and crashing. After the third crash in 10 minutes I gave up. ### 2/5 — One Tweak Needed Desparately *2020-04-11, version 3.75* Used this app while at the museum. I had AirPods. But the app requires you raise the phone to your ear to start audio even if you have headphones. This is cumbersome and unnecessary. Users know how a play button works, get rid of the raise to play. Also, the “nearby” feature is spotty at best. It relies on locating the user in a crowded museum which fails most of the time. The floor plan is simple to follow with a map - no need for the nearby feature. I started with the “nearby” nav as recommended by a museum associate. But found I’d be right in front of a piece but could not see the audio link. Switched to the plain map which shows ALL audio links. Plain map also guides user sequentially which “nearby” does not. Great museum – this app could be better though. ### 2/5 — Dali Mudeum *2020-04-06, version 3.75* App does not work well with Apple Play and Screen Mirroring. Picture won’t go into portrait mode. Forced use of Bluetooth when I didn’t want to use it. Best used just on device without trying to use for family viewing on TV. It continues to tell me that I need to hold the phone at my ear. Performance is terrible… either on cell or WiFi, the audio tours only load on every 1 of 10 tries. Have to keep rebooting the app to get the tour to load. Very frustrating. Makes an otherwise amazing museum a very negative experience.
