The Deep Listener by Jakob Kudsk Steensen is an audio-visual ecological expedition through Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, the area surrounding the Serpentine Galleries. Jakob Kudsk Steensen is a Danish artist based in New York concerned with how imagination, technology and ecology intertwine. Kudsk Steensen’s practice of developing digital worlds proposes new possibilities for storytelling through embedded field work and an interdisciplinary engagement with emerging technologies – all seen in the light of our current environment emergency. I had some trouble at first due to the link not working. But the whole immersive experience is amazing! And you can have “without” goggles is what I love. In addition, I find it extra special because you provide educational information on what the viewer is seeing in addition to the visual and auditory entertainment.
