I’m sure there was effort put into the game but it doesn’t really show. The save mechanism and respawn is still a mystery... I was stuck underneath an alligator and couldn't move, so I went to the menu and when I returned all of the alligators were herons. Another time I respawned as a porcupine and was stuck in the water. The only things I have problems with are the controls are off and broken along with the barriers that don't allow me to continue playing through the game. Like, you can drag left or right and your deer will just stand still and take extra hits from enemies, or I had one instance were he ran after a bush to eat by himself, without me actually making him get near the bush, and got killed by a snake. Or the swipe combat, being the only combat that works since the button is unresponsive, sometimes stops responding during combat. I want to like this game, but the controls being unresponsive make it it really hard to. ### 5/5 — Help *2015-12-24, version 1.2* I LOVE this game but there are two problems the first one is when you get the tree bark to give to Matilda the dark witch the tree bark does not go into your inventory but it goes away and the second problem that I literally just found is that I went back to my game and there was only this small piece of lAnd and the bushes and berries and stuff were floating off the ground all equal height but the weird thing is you run to the cliff at the edge of the land and you jump as far and as high as you can and then you fall down like you're about to hit spikes and the poof you are teleported back to the middle where you started you don't lose any lives or anything and you don't do the get up from laying down thing either you just sort of drop there like you were landing after a jump I'd like to see this get fixed because I saved my allowance for this game and it is on my list of all time favorite games and I really like it. ### 4/5 — Help *2015-11-28, version 1.2* This game is almost a masterpiece. I have been playing it avidly the last few days on my commute and have got fairly far along in the story , however I was exploring a small cave beneath one of those smashable rocks In the floor and I got stuck at the end !!!! I can't get out !! I keep dying of hunger and respawning back in the rock!!! Please add a revert to last save option in the pause menu and fix this bug ! The mixture of 3D animation and classic pixels is grating and gimmicky. An ideal version of this game would have automatic attacks that can be upgraded rather than controlled (with the jump/move controls where they are now) and no plot or dialogue, as well as automatic "eating" when energy is low. It has no camera control so you can pan out and see where you're going, demanding too many leaps of faith, usually into a pit of spikes! I have no idea what most of the game features do. Reincarnating as a porcupine is a flat waste of time. How does a porcupine kill a deer (or why), anyways. I am very disappointed, after my 8bit expectations were set by Swords and Sworcery. However, I was wondering if the dev could somehow create a multiplayer server like in the PC version? Having the two options of choosing to play Single Player or a random player in Multiplayer would add more to the game since playing solo does get a tad boring after a while.
