THE DESCENT is a dark-fantasy action roguelite built for one-handed, real-time combat. One thumb moves, the other attacks, dodges, and unleashes skills. Every floor is carved fresh; every run ends one of two ways.

YOUR NEMESIS REMEMBERS
The enemy that kills you doesn't just win — it takes a nand hunts you in every run that follows. Each time itbeats you it grows crueler: harder, faster, guarded by a retinue. Track it down and kill it to reclaim what's yours, with interest.

DEATH IS PROGRESS
Essence survives every death. Spend it on permanent blesody and the Path of War. Bank one heirloom for your nextlife. Fill the Almanac with every power, set, and named horror you discover. Paragon growth means every kill counts forever.

CHOOSE YOUR TORMENT
All twelve difficulty tiers are open from your very firs. Torment XII is a promise. Higher tiers mean deadlierpacks, far more elites — and far richer spoils. If you want a challenge, that's your call, not ours.

FOUR WAYS DOWN
Knight, Ranger, Reaver, Mage — each with signature skillwn builds. Bosses bar the way every fifth floor.Champions, named uniques, cursed shrines, dark pacts, an apothecary with questionable tonics — and Daily Depths: one shared dungeon, one attempt, every day.
