Please deter from the Woke direction the DN seems to be leaning towards the past several years. If our society is not broken as compared to the rest of the world, it does not need changing. I cannot understand why/how people leave their FAILED cultures to live in THE UNITED STATES and insist on wanting to insert their FAILED cultures into THE UNITED STATES culture. Earlier in the month, I could also read the Free Press and Port Huron Times Herald along with numerous other papers from around the country. The News is the only newspaper that reports the truth and does not distort any reports to favor any political party. The only time there is and distortions is in the Sunday edition is when the very Liberal Detroit Free Press shares the their Liberal columnist’s views and shows favor to their Liberal friends. Many years ago the Detroit News slogan was “If you read the News you know.” That still holds true to today. I really like the ability to get my papers where ever I am in the country. I am very satisfied with your operation! Keep up the excellent job! Monday Aug 20th while reading news a notification popped up stating this is an invalid server. I uninstalled app & today reinstalled it. Still not working. States we need a subscription. We have had one for decades. Anyone else having this difficulty? ### 1/5 — Miserable improvement. *2016-06-13, version 2.6.40* My husband and I both have iPads and have a subscription for both Detroit papers. We received no notification. App just stopped working ( both times on a Sat. when there is no tech support). Thought it was resolved. Now not working again. The people at the help center really don't know how to help. While it was working, we agreed that the format was cumbersome. I do love how the screen can be enlarged, but why the split screen when choosing an article? It would be much better if the article could be seen on the entire screen. This one is now very bad. Hard to control, missing text, slow sharing options. Please go back to the future. Another problem is trying to print out puzzles. The old version printed clearly. The newer version prints out fuzzy and in the Sunday edition when the NYT crossword is printed, the numbers in the grid are barely readable. I have a very good HP printer that prints everything else clearly. Missed reading the paper yesterday but no longer can access old editions. Almost every article has a little or a lot of political bias built in to every article. The reliance on national and international news stories and sources {i.e. Associated Press] makes the newspapers very non local and extremely biased. As a subscriber I can read the paper with ease. I read each section but one could skip around with no issues. The Detroit News is a great place to start your day. The DN App is a great way to keep up with the news and back articles.
