## Most critical reviews (8 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Conflicts with audio

*2023-07-23*

If I set the alarm it prevents my AirPods Pro from working. Quitting the app restores audio control.

### 2/5 — Great facts, but

*2022-05-02*

I’d much prefer to hear them from a booming male voice, the female voice seems too soothing and comforting and perhaps some background alarms or other such sounds of doom.

### 3/5 — Improvements will come with time （ ＾ν＾）

*2022-04-28*

I literally had a doomsday dream and woke to this being a story on the news had to try it out. I wish you could hear each of the alarms before setting them. I was also hoping for a more intense experience as if you were actually in the doomsday. It's just facts, but I will check on the app soon!

### 4/5 — The End is around the corner 😑 get prepping

*2024-01-23, version 1.1*

A Doomsday is coming, We’re all DOOMED
But at least I can wake up grateful for another day , yet also anticipate the looming apocalypse

11/10 wake up to some info, not a siren

(My notifications are repeatedly telling me every 30 seconds to ‘wake up to how the world could end’ !
Maybe a bug in the app?)

### 5/5 — ZZZ

*2023-10-07*

This alarm clock can wake up for the world to end

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2023-02-03, version 1.1*

Makes me cry myself to sleep.

10/10

### 5/5 — A life saver

*2022-04-29*

This is my life. Everyday, I wake up, and work myself into a fuming froth over the latest injustice I read about on Twitter. This is followed by 8 hours of existential dread at work, wondering if my labor really means anything to this world.

After work, I stare into my infant son’s eyes, and apologize for the broken world he will inherit. This is followed by more Twitter froth, and then restless sleep.

The only true peace I get is the sleepy innocence between waking and the shocking realization that I will do everything all over again. This is unacceptable!

Thanks to this beautiful app, my dream of finally living a Groundhog Day like existence of fear and fury is finally a reality!

Goodbye morning innocence, hello reality!

### 5/5 — This alarm clock changed my life (for real)

*2022-04-01*

I used to wake up to a regular beepbeepbeep alarm and what I didn’t realize until I downloaded The Doomsday Alarm Clock is that the beepbeepbeep that jolted me awake every morning also jolted awake every single existential anxiety I’ve known because beepbeepbeep literally sounds like a bomb about to detonate. That sound has been subconsciously impacting FOR YEARS and I never knew it, until today when I woke up to the soothing sounds of an impending supervolcano that will end life as we know it on Earth. I woke up in a CALMER STATE than I had ever woken up before. Why? Because it spoke to and soothed my existential dread. Unlike that god forsaken beepbeepbeep which left me existentially blueballed every morning.
