I’ll run into some enemy’s and I’ll die instantly with my 34 health,but other than that great game I have some experience from goblin sword but this game is way more challenging and fun

Its a fun little mini action-platform with good pixel-art graphics. But everything in this game is stuff players have seen before. It’s not bad at all, but it is nothing special either.

The game is fantastic. It has plenty of challenging levels and lots of upgrades. The biggest downfall is the controls. They lag up to a second at times and is extremely frustrating when trying to evade an enemy and the controls don’t work properly. 5 stars if controls worked properly.

Barely gave this one 3 stars. First of all, the character and equipment stats are not intuitive at all. Does the armor even help with defense or does it just look cool? Another downside is that there aren’t any hit point indicators on the NPCs. Frustrated when 3 hits and I’m dead, so I think the difficulty is a bit much. Takes the fun out of it for me, so probably won’t give this another chance.

Beautiful graphics and classic platforming/RPG gameplay. No glitches that I have noticed, though I did adjust the positioning of the right hand buttons so I won’t burn precious mana when trying to jump. 

Overall, exactly the kind of game I love.

I’ve been looking for a game like this and found finally it! I also play “A smile is beautiful”. I hope more games like this one come out. I spent some real life money to support this game as well. The only thing I have to say is the jumping system is a bit difficult to maneuver sometimes. Some levels can be pretty challenging, but it helps a lot to watch an ad to get gems. On the other version as mentioned above, there’s no such option, so I play this one more. I paid money on both games though. Hope to see more updates! Thank you for an fun platformer rpg type game!!!

I stopped playing the east new world only because I started playing a smile is beautiful
Both are great games
(Even with constant and random screen flickers while playing)
Then
After almost finishing a smile is beautiful
It suddenly stopped
It froze on the title screen
And that was it
The game just gave up
All I could do was delete it
So
I started playing the east new world again
Was excited to see updates after being dormant for a year
My issue now is
I am positive
I paid
To remove ads
I know this because I do not play games that make you watch ads
Now the ads are back with a vengeance
With no option to remove them or to restore purchases
I feel like a paid for something that doesn’t exist

Still really like both the games
And I sympathize with the BS developers must go through to be developers

But
I think I’m done

This game is good. It's not great though. It's overly difficult, the controls are slightly clunky (though not as bad as other titles), and there's a little too much going a little too quickly. On a difficulty scale of 1-10 (1 being the first level of Tetris and 10 being the original TMNT water level on the NES), this game is about an 8. Some players may love it. I do not. It's a time waster, not an epic saga. Please reduce the difficulty, improve the controls (wider button fields would do it), and for the LOVE OF GOD, delete the footfalls. Then we'd be looking at a 5 star game right up there with the venerable Goblin Sword.

So far the game is great. I have only a few hours into it but it's a lot of fun. Some great RPG elements and the graphics are beautiful. The only issue I'm seeing is some screen tearing when I jump. Shows up as black lines on the screen. Fix this and 5*

It’s terribly balanced. Enemies damage you a ridiculous amount, the armor that you save up for forever is COSMETIC, and you can’t grind to make your character better. It would be fun if it weren’t so rage-inducing. The expensive swords are only SLIGHTLY better than the one you get in the tutorial. All-in-all, don’t waste your time.

The game used to be one of my favs, but once I got to the bonus stage of level 2 I realized they totally used the same level design as the bonus stage of ancient castle on Goblin Sword. Wow, and it had the makings of a great game,  but no respect after they had to bite

I COULD have spent hours playing this game. It’s a nice, simple, throw back to classic sword fighting platformers. Unfortunately I cannot get more than a couple levels into the game for frustration with the gameplay. I know a lot of gamers are pining for challenging gameplay in titles like this but frankly I do find it arduous to have to hit even the most basic of enemies four or five times to defeat them. But I could get over that were it not for the unresponsive jump controls. Jumping is easy. The double jump is consistently unreliable. Just a couple levels in and you have to rely a lot on the double jump and half the time, it doesn’t work. And when it doesn’t work, you most of the time it doesn’t just cost you a frustrating backtrack, it can easily cost you health and your life. Having such a basic and essential game mechanic glitch like that quickly makes this game become incredibly frustrating and not worth the effort. Sorry developers. Tighten your controls.

I want to love this game, I really do.

But it jitters and lags often. The controls are often unresponsive and I get frustrated enough that I have to stop playing for a while.

Fix the bugs and I will give it 5 stars!

Extremely laggy and difficult to quickly maneuver with the controls.  Don’t waste your time in downloading, I deleted the app after the first boss which took me much longer to beat due to the poor controls.

Because if you fail to pass a level too many times then eventually you’ll pay them for the gems that keep you from having to start the level again. Which is too bad because it is a fun game.

The first few chapters of this game is really fun! The storyline doesn’t make a lot of sense but who cares, it’s fun to play. It gets increasingly harder which is an excellent formula for a game.. then you get to the last chapter.. the mirror world. And it’s just absurdly hard. There’s zero chance of moving forward without dumping tons of money into buying gems. I am someone who will spend average $10-30 over time on gems/upgrades/what have you in a game, but even after finding YouTube walkthroughs, it’s just not enjoyable anymore.

A deftly constructed homage to the platformer genre, this side-scrolling ARPG puts you in the shoes of a warrior who battles over 72 huge and challenging levels, 8 giant bosses, with a varied assortment of upgradable weapons, customizable armor, magical skills, stat enhancements, and metroidvania abilities. It takes the best of the genre (inspired heavily from the classic Goblin Sword) and then shifts into overdrive, opening up a world of giant monsters, beautiful graphics, and *challenging* gameplay. Highly recommended.

And I say that in a good way. The graphics are better, the gameplay is perhaps more fluid, the enemy variety is greater, the customization is higher. 

The biggest problem is the terrible English. The game wants to have some dialog between characters and descriptions for items, but the team that made this game doesn't have someone who speaks the English language well enough. Numerous grammatical errors, in just about every speech box, item description, etc. You can tell the team focused more on the gameplay, graphics, and customization. Which is great, because if you play Goblin Sword (or similar games) you don't play them for the story or characters. 

But this game wants you to read a little, and it's jarring. It needs a fix urgently. 

Otherwise it's a great game with great controls, beautiful art, good variety, and at times difficult levels. It's worth the cheap price.

Great game but there is one problem(I’ve been playing for around a day), I can’t find everything, for example: story crystals and treasure chests. What that means is that I can’t always get the story, which I think should happen(getting story). Also I die a lot.
