If it is possible, I couldn’t figure it out. On that note, I found the navigation to be very unintuitive. I would also love to see a modern English option. I find it difficult to pray with the thees and thous. I would also purchase a physical copy in modern English if one existed. Thanks! ### 1/5 — Bloated App *2026-06-10, version 2.0.8* Disappointed in the bloat that was added, the inability to use the settings to mute the prayers, the rewording of prayers I had memorized from ages past and the inability to provide feedback. There is no lack, however, of Donate buttons and attempts to have the user subscribe. Overall it appears they fixed something that wasn’t broken. I’ll likely return to the Jordanville prayer book. Update: after several months I returned to find that nothing has changed. If you opt for the free version, you cannot go from day to day through the week but are stuck on the day of your download. How they have destroyed a once excellent digital prayer book is beyond me. I have to hit cancel every single time I open the app. This did not happen in the free version. It is annoying. And makes me reconsider using your app. Please fix that. Best I can say is it helps me toward greater patience. Please believe me I have enough other such helpers in my life. I’ve loved getting to know the prayers. And the free app is a wonderful blessing. However…after the app updated, it’s no longer a simple prayer app (which I had admired), there is now a menu of ministry items. I dislike that there’s now an ad for a book at the end of every session of prayers. A couple suggestions for devs moving forward: 1. Ability to view previous day’s prayers. Sometimes I get home from work after midnight and want to pray the previous day’s evening prayers before bed. 2. Turn off the auto play on the prayers. Can’t find how to do that in the new app. 3. Remove prayer book ad from daily prayer readings. 4. More background music options would be lovely. Still a great benefit to my walk with the Lord. And being able to hear the gospel and epistle for each day is wonderful. Along with this, the app offers spoken prayers, like evening, morning, and even midday prayers that have people read them. One small issue I have with the app is the classical music that plays no matter what, It becomes very annoying if I want to pray, as to my knowledge there is no way to disable to music. Other than this, the app offers great selections of prayers, for every occasion during the day to day life. It does feel very personal, and though I haven’t used the feature yet, you are able to send prayer requests to the people who develop the app. ### 5/5 — Love this app, just one small thing I wish we had. *2025-06-02, version 1.71* I love this app. Beautiful prayers and a lot of good orthodox references/resources.
