The Endless Trail is a surprisingly deep and rewarding survival roguelite. The gameplay strikes a great balance between strategy and accessibility, with every decision feeling meaningful as you manage resources, navigate events, and shape your character over the course of a run. The progression system keeps things interesting, and each attempt teaches you something new about the trail and how to survive it.

What I appreciate most is that success feels earned. The game rewards planning and thoughtful decision-making rather than pure luck, making each run engaging and satisfying. This is actually really fun if you like strategy games where your choices matter. It’s not just random survival, you can actually learn the systems, manage your resources, and get better each run. The wilderness theme, character traits, factions, and companions give it more depth than I expected. Definitely worth trying if you want something strategic but still casual!
