This way purposely makes it harder for user to identify where to redeem offers making the subscription less appealing. It’s already hard enough to find venues through search function as nothing shows properly, map was the only worthwhile feature and it’s gone ### 1/5 — Terrible new design - map removed *2025-10-11, version 10.0.02* Where has the map gone? Most of my delivery options don’t work, they’ve admitted there’s a problem with their back end but that’s it. The customer service regarding the issue has been AWFUL! After MONTHS trying to rectify the issue, I’ve given up and am writing this review. ### 1/5 — Basically unusable *2025-08-18* Not sure who designed this app; but it’s terrible interface and design. Constant reminders to turn on notifications, no real decent filters or ways to search. And leaving aside the interface, the content itself is fairly rubbish. None of the delivery places deliver (even when within a 2km radius); 90% of the offers are hugely overpriced, and the few that are OK are really just that…barely OK. Get rid of the annoying pop up every time I open the app. In fact your user experience is horrible. So many forced pop ups that it takes roughly 10 taps to open your app. Fix it! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Complete waste of 500 AED – Zero flexibility and poor value *2026-08-07, version 10.2.0* I strongly advise against purchasing The Entertainer. It is easily the worst subscription service I have ever used, offering poor value and completely rigid customer support. Here is why you should avoid it: Designed for Couples Only: The vast majority of offers require you to buy one item at full price to get the second free. If you are using this app alone, it is entirely useless and offers no real money savings. Zero Flexibility or Customer Care: Due to regional tensions, my partner had to leave the country, making the app pointless for me. I contacted customer support for a refund or partial refund just 2–3 days after their standard refund grace period. Despite the fact that I had not used a single coupon or service, they completely refused to offer any kind gesture or partial refund. Short Subscription Window: The 500 AED subscription does not even last a full calendar year, giving you a very limited window to actually get your money's worth. Signs of a Declining Platform: Earlier this year, they handed out 1,000 free subscriptions following regional events. This massive giveaway makes it clear they are desperate for user numbers, likely because paying customers are realizing the service is no longer worth the price. This company does not care about its customers or unique personal circumstances. Save your 500 AED and skip this app. I will never return to them and will make sure to warn friends and family away from it ### 1/5 — What a disappointment *2026-06-18, version 10.0.08* The Entertainer was a brilliant must subscribe product for years. However, in the last 12 months the number of quality suppliers has degraded month on month. There is not a single spa in Saadiyat and Pinkberry is sadly missing. Most restaurants either reject redeeming the offer in Jeddah even though they show up on the app or they change the rules to the harm for the customer. Total waste of money. While it does offer options across multiple countries, I have been disappointed with the number and value of UAE-specific vouchers compared to what I had with the UAE Entertainer. There also appears to be fewer vouchers overall than before, which has been frustrating. Additionally, I believe I had more Smile Points on my account than are currently showing. I have purchased these points and they have not expired, yet I am unable to buy more Smile Points or redeem the ones I already have for vouchers. This has further limited my ability to make full use of the app. Lastly, I cannot find how to access the XL packages that were available in my previous subscription. I had hoped that switching to the GCC edition would give me more options, especially focused on the UAE, but unfortunately that has not been my experience.
