Most of the features don’t work such as slido. Needs constant updates and freezes. There is a session title, room, and time but no other information (no author names, talk titles, nothing).. Another level gives you the authors but no times or talk titles. Yet another level gives you a huge dump of text which is useless on a mobile device (still no times for individual talks. Perhaps it wasn’t set up properly by the conference, in which case the app should provide better setup instructions. When someone is happy for you to scan them to get their details, you get their name but that’s it, No email & no mobile, if you try sending them message via the app - they don’t get notified … I can list more but not enough space for writing here ### 1/5 — Terrible user experience *2025-07-02, version 5.4.2* I wish conferences would stop using this app, or push for improvements. Aside from ongoing lag and stability issues, the navigation itself is problematic. Agenda has no way to flag/favourite sessions without entering the specific entry. Presenters named within the entries have no link to their profile. When you exit back out, the agenda returns to the top of page, so need to scroll all the way through (frustrating on long agendas!), and the search option is often useless, not picking up some names or session titles. I am at a conference and didn’t bring a charger because my iphone is fairly new. It’s used 3x more battery than using a personal hotspot. Everytime you open the app it takes you to the beginning of the day. Every time when I use the app I have to first scroll for ages to find where I was. I had to update the app almost every time I opened it. Nice design, good usability ### 4/5 — Painful to use but fully featured *2024-05-23, version 4.0.9* On paper this app is extremely good, it even has landscape support, but it has some glaring issues: 1. No visual feedback when pressing buttons. 2. Extremely slow sometimes - with big delay from button presses to the screen switching to what you selected. 3. Some items under “my program” aren’t under “program” for those who paid for specific items prior to the conference 4. The app bugs out and becomes unusable frequently requiring restarting the app. For example sometimes you get stuck on one item in programs and you can’t get out of it. These issues resolve when relaunching the app. 5. You have to scroll down to see the notifications button to see previous notifications. These things should be nearer the top. 6. There is no way to “sign up” for items within the program and no option to find out the number of people that have signed up for an item. The favourites feature could be improved to implement this Otherwise, other than the occasional frustration, the app has been quite serviceable and I am impressed with the amount of features. ### 3/5 — App is functional *2023-11-14, version 4.0.9* Constantly ask for update even when it’s updates. Not much use when you have an iPad in a case with a keyboard. Anytime I select an event, navigating back takes me to the top of the list instead of my current scrolling location. This quirk is especially frustrating with how easy it is to accidentally select an event while scrolling. ### 2/5 — A bit frustrating *2025-11-11, version 5.5.0* The app needed “updating” every time I opened it, and would often freeze on a page so I couldn’t navigate back or forth without closing and opening the app again. The favouriting of sessions worked but you can’t favourite specific presentations within sessions which makes planning your day hard.
