Good for local news. Bad for running Labor puff pieces. At least 90% of the editorial is promoting centre left.

### 2/5 — So frustrating that the app often says it failed to connect to the server

In the months before the app upgrade I was seriously considering not renewing my digital subscription due to the frequency of the app failing to load the daily paper, particularly when there were many pages. It usually stopped downloading or failed to connect to the server by the time it got to the Public Announcements or Sports sections.  Although there has been some improvement since the latest version of the app, today the paper will not “connect to server” past Page 4 and I am definitely not getting my money’s worth with this digital sub!  I have tried at different times of the day with no luck. I have full bars of wifi so the issue is not with my inner city residence. Please get this sorted!!!

Just a poor upgrade. Slower & layout is now confusing, not logical or easy to use

The Examiner takes too long to read digitally due to it becoming more of a Harvey Norman catalogue.  Flicking quickly through the catalogue to get to the bulk of the news is awful!
Perhaps it would be best to put it at the back or before the sport.
If I wan’t to find something in the catalogue, I’ll know where to find it!

Todays paper is unable to be read via the app, including the realestate edition. No obvious backup support option, so a review was the next best.

Wondering why the app refuses to load paper as printed. What benefit is an app that does not deliver more efficiently than going to the newsagent.

This has since been restored by our IT team.

I would like to open up the paper and search for a page, there are some options but usually after the first page I look at the births, deaths etc but can’t find them at all.  I can’t find a search button.

I would like to open up the paper and swipe across to each new page just like a pepper version.  

I’m not very happy with this new idea.

Definitely not an improvement, needs to be condensed in ‘latest news’ section, & does not seem to be updating, the ‘daily paper’ section is frustrating with individual pages, much prefer previous set up

The single page is hard to adjust to read.
The old way was much better.  The paper doesn’t flow as it used to.   Not impressed at all.
