I tried playing again but realised why I didn’t persevere years ago. Sorely lacking a map and useful prompts to direct you through the gameplay. I felt as if I was lost in a mansion going round in circles.

Постоянно выскакивает сообщение «Некоторые предметы можно трогать. Коснитесь такого предмета в инвентаре». И его невозможно просто закрыть, нужно обязательно нажать на предмет. Что за тупость? Я хочу по комнате пошариться, зачем эта навязчивость?  Подскажите, как эти убрать?

Pros: it's a beautifully produced game with a good story and exquisite graphics in a nice 3D environment.... navigation works well.... there are lots of puzzles, superb attention to detail, and it's long. Cons: clues and puzzles are vague and everything is so spread out that the environment became a hindrance, and there's no map. So if, like me, you're not someone with a photographic memory for where everything is, you can spend lots of time just trying to find rooms that you've been in and want to return to. It's lovely that there are a lot of rooms but after a while it just became annoying. Some rooms only have one thing in them. I got so tired of going all over the place trying to remember where something was. I also agree with the reviewer who mentioned how there are numerous puzzles that require much work and end up only getting you an achievement... doing nothing to advance you in the game. Personally, I don't really care about achievements and each time this happened it was disappointing. I thought I'd had a breakthrough... but no. I could go on, but suffice it to say that the frustration level has surpassed the pleasure level. I'm exhausted and It's not fun anymore. Not sure if I even want to try to finish. This game, while beautiful in many ways, has worn me down.

Il y a 3 ´rooms’, et les indices sont bon dans le premier, correcte dans le deuxième et déficient dans le troisième.

Mêmes lorsque les options d’indice sont activés, ces derniers n’indique pas nécessairement un indice dans la pièces. J’ai du utiliser l’aide d’une solution sur le web pour compléter le jeu.

Malgré cela, le jeu est agréable.

Enjoyable, atmospheric and challenging game. You need to be willing to follow the clues which are sometimes nestled among moderately lengthy book fragments but if you are down for immersive escapism a bit of reading doesn’t get much in the way of exploration. Worth the money because the developers have put more effort into each room/ area/ puzzle rather than repetitive copy and paste puzzle generation in other games. Toward the end gets almost to the point of ridiculous in complexity of puzzle but fun if you can work it out. Beautiful Erie game.

Het spel gaat traag vooruit en het is -letterlijk- te donker. Er is geen menselijke interactie zoals in The house of Da Vinci. Dit maakt de verhaallijn alsmaar saaier. De puzzels worden steeds meer vergezocht en moeilijk. De 9-jarige die dit spel uitspeelt zal wel een enorme uitzondering zijn. Ik heb het na iets meer dan 9 uur opgegeven. Het verhaal van de buitenaardse dingen mist leven en komt voor mij niet uit de verf.  In dit genre vond ik Myst oneindig veel leuker, ondanks een moeilijkheidsgraad die ook vrij hoog was.

I wanted to love this game and felt that way about most of it (graphics, soundtrack, storyline), BUT the puzzles were so hard I had to keep a walk thru handy while playing. Toward the end I just completely gave up because the walkthrough wasn’t helpful and couldn’t spend any more time fussing over this game. That said, still worth it to try playing,

…Point and click escape/puzzler out there. World is vast and puzzles are super challenging and inventive. I’ve played them all from the Rusty Lake series, Glitch Games, CottonGame, and this one just might beat all of those. Hoping for more.

They were making much better games of this format 20 years ago.

Looks nice and feels open world at first, but you’re quickly locked into one boxy puzzle area at a time.

Nothing makes any sense, for example a lever built into the wall opens a wooden chest that is resting on a chair.

You try to navigate through a doorway and you load in the middle of a room with no idea where you came from and you’ve passed loads of things of interest in your way.

There is also a loading lag when zooming out.

It’s no wonder it took someone 30 hours to complete.

I bought this game when it came out, but it has taken me this long to finally beat it. I deleted it for a long while out of frustration, but recently decided to try again. Because it is a beautiful game. Hard? Yes, but well thought out. A very engaging story. With that in mind:

The reviewers complaining about the “worthless “ collectibles have missed the heart of the game. Go back and read the header of the letter hiring you for the job.

I started to play, the graphics were great, but then I’m not picky. For me the important part is the volume(it helps set the scene) and the puzzles. Well, the intro was silent, I thought, maybe this is just the way the opening scene is, but then it continued. I would love to place this, but I like music and sound effects when I’m playing a game. It doesn’t matter what it is, music sets it up. Without the sound, it’s a boring video. Maybe, if the problem was fixed. I’d finish playing, as it stands, I’m disappointed that I paid for something I won’t be using.

For instance, there is a radio in the studio that is on a table. You have to turn it on in order to get a strobe light. Lands on the bookcase and highlight some books. I started the game got pretty far couldn’t figure out why I was stuck look through and figured it out that there was no radio there. It confirmed my suspicion cause I didn’t remember seeing a radio there. So I started the game over thinking it would reset when I got to the same point the radio was still not there so I’m unable to move forward. Major glitch don’t waste your time.

Die Räume sind zu dunkel. Das schadet den Augen. Die Lust am Spiel wird mit der Zeit immer geringer. Das System erkennt nicht, dass es, wenn es sich lange genug im Kreis dreht, Hilfe anbieten könnte. Es gibt keine Logik. Es darf ruhig schwierig sein, aber man sollte es nicht übertreiben. Meine Bitte:  der Support sollte beim Start des Spiels mehrere Schwierigkeitsgrade anbieten. Ich habe aus Frustration aufgehört. Das erste und letzte Spiel, dass ich hier gekauft habe. Ich empfehle nicht.

I had high hopes for this game, however am unable to proceed past an early stage in the game and it has become a little tedious already. After solving the generator puzzle, I am unable to insert it into the generator, and am therefore stuck in that room. I contacted the developers for help, but have not received a reply yet. Seeking a refund for this app.

Was really enjoying the game,  but got to room in which 
I have spent hours trying to click on everything,   It’s a dead end.  used the walkthrough videos and the items in the videos do not appear in the room.  Hints would be very helpful, disappointed with my purchase.

Had to start over 3 times -beach time I was farther in. But things that should have happened didn’t. For instance I found all 3 stars for Orion, but only had 2 in my inventory and when I went back to all 3 places I found them, they weren’t there, had to start over. Then the second level I had a problem with the cherub puzzles, the picture of the horses and warriors were supposed to collapse into a mechanism to open the boxes, but didn’t. Had to start over AGAIN. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not a big gamer, but when I have time to play iOS games, I enjoy thoughtful puzzle games like HoD, the Room series, Botanicula, and similar. I find myself playing those games over and over. It’s always difficult to find anything similar. But Eyes of Ara is even better than HoD imo. I like that you can simply look all around and aren’t “funneled” to an obvious item to interact with. In fact the game is a little too much like this in that I find myself clicking randomly on the screen to happen upon a loose stone or floorboard. 

A recommendation: don’t do this game all at once to try to “beat it” as quickly as you can. It’s a game, just enjoy it and put it down and get back to it with fresh eyes. 

I like that people who are careful to look around and investigate are rewarded in small ways - picking up coins, photos, etc, but the tedious aspect of this isn’t necessary to move forward in the game. If you don’t like taking things slow you don’t have to. The game takes several hours to complete, even if you’re not looking around in the corners, ceilings for little hidden things. Some puzzles are easy, others more challenging, but the hints are present in the game. I didn’t look at a walkthrough until I had completed all the levels. At that point I was curious at what I had missed. 

I really like how advancing to a new level doesn’t stop you from revisiting older areas to resolve and complete things. Very well thought out and planned!

I bet I’ll be playing this again in a year or 2! Thank you and hope you have time to make another similar game

퍼즐이 신박하고 재밌고 그래픽이 너무 좋아요. 다 풀고 난 퍼즐하고 관련된 물건들은 터치해도 아무 효과 없는점이 너무 맘에 들었어요 .숨겨진 보물 찾는 재미도 좋고 
평점이 낮아서 구매 망설였는데 진짜 너무 재밌고 다음 작품도 기대할게요

It’s a good game; very absorbing, but I’ve tried twice now and still can’t finish a game (get about halfway through chapter 3) I even resorted to cheating by watching a walk-through and nope, still can’t figure it out. Wish some hints were available, would make it less frustrating.
