## What is The Fairfax Archives?

The Fairfax Archives auction app presents the original vintage photographs used to make newspapers across New Zealand from the 1860s-2000. Our auctions contain a wide variety of historic material from Aotearoa - the people, places, and events that have influenced and shaped contemporary New Zealand culture. From Edmund Hillary to The Rainbow Warrior, historical landscapes, politics and demonstrations, and much more. Many of these cultural artifacts can only be found in libraries and are being made available to the public for the first time. 

The Fairfax Archives app allows you to browse upcoming sales, track your favorite lots, and place bids in our online auctions from anywhere on your mobile device.
