### 3/5 — Good but a bit short

*2013-04-12*

I enjoyed the game but in the end it didn't feel that expansive. Maybe if you were to replay it... but I was hugely successful on the path I chose so why would I want to play another path? Would be worth 4 or 5 stars at half the price.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2013-01-14*

It's still on my Ipiod, which is good BUT
It was dang expensive, and how many different story changes were there, Like two/three?
Not impressed with this one,

### 5/5 — Just my kind of game

*2012-12-29*

It definitely wraps you in. I'd recommend to any fellow space geeks

### 5/5 — Lives up to expectations

*2012-12-26*

If you've played any of the other "choose of" games you'll know what to expect. This game is fun, interactive and a good mix between situations where you have to command your fleet in battle and situations where you have to deal with politics and personal situations. It's often difficult to decide what to do, and it can be replayed with quite different outcomes!

### 4/5 — Good

*2012-12-12, version 1.0.1*

Good game but I'm tired of the space type games.

### 5/5 — Games by Choice of Games are always a treat

Games by Choice of Games are always a treat

### 4/5 — Good but short

*2012-12-06*

I really love these series of games and play them first thing they come out, I enjoyed this game but I felt that it ended far to quickly compared to there other games.

Keep up the good work :)

### 4/5 — Fun

*2012-12-02, version 1.0.0*

A fun game that had me feeling like the future of my world was truly in the palm of my hand. Engrossing game if a little short.

### 5/5 — COG-the Fleet is awesome!

*2012-12-01*

Well written game, many choices and ways to play. Very entertaining sci-fi adventure!

### 5/5 — Wheee!

*2012-12-01*

Excellent as always , waiting eagerly for another installment from Choice of Games or Hosted games !

### 5/5 — So good

*2012-12-01*

I love this one. I can replay the story quite a few times without getting bored, which is a great quality in text based games. Overall it is a really awesome game. Make more of these text based adventure games please, I'll try them all!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Buggy, incoherent

*2016-04-03*

Serious issues here, and the game is already too short. Surprisingly poor effort from the maker of better games.

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2014-12-27*

Not even close to the best by this publisher. Average writing, boring dialogue, and I suspect that the stats panel is bugged. Give it a pass. Check out Choice of Robots instead, also by this publisher, and a real good one.

### 1/5 — Review

*2013-02-16, version 1.1.0*

Worst choice of game I've ever played

### 1/5 — Nope

*2012-12-25, version 1.1.0*

Nope, needs more secks or it never happend.

### 1/5 — Not their best..not even close

*2012-12-23*

I'm not gonna sugar coat it I'm usually in love with these games, however this one had scratching my head wondering where the rest of the story went. Overall there are two primary choices and regardless of how many it make look like there is only 3 endings. 2 of which truly makes me want to gouge the eyes out of whoever thought that those would satisfy ANY type of game. Overall I started with two stars however realizing that this game was just pathetic in nature it will now be one.

### 2/5 — Eh

*2012-12-26*

I liked the storyline, but some of the stats were confusing and with the stats of Force or Elegance, I wasn't able to tell which fleet moves applied to either and later in the story it takes a toll. And 3 bucks REALLY! That price is outrageous for this short game!

### 2/5 — Bit boring

*2012-12-03*

Very meh, to be honest. Too much like apex patrol, but without the endearing characters. Your own character development is lacking, and it just doesn't live up to the standard I have come to expect from 'choice of'.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2012-12-01*

That is all I can say about this game. I love broadsides, dragon, and many other COG games, but there aren't enough actual characters or real challenges to make this worthwhile. The worst part is? The concept has potential.

### 3/5 — It was ok

*2018-10-29*

I enjoyed the premise of it, but the story lacked depth and was really short. All and all, not bad but could have been a lot better.

### 3/5 — Review

*2013-06-17*

It's good! It really is and I enjoyed it :D waiting for a new once to come out already!! (Possibly not sci-fi)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fun story!

*2016-04-12, version 1.1.0*

Like this choose your own destiny book. It has really interesting choices and you actually feel like a captain You are a hero. Not just an excellent game for sight challenged people, but a good game for anyone.

### 5/5 — Grand Text Adventure

*2015-11-01, version 1.1.0*

This is a true masterpiece!

### 5/5 — Engaging Story, Great feel of choice!

*2015-08-08, version 1.1.0*

Couldn't put it down until the end!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2015-05-19*

When I first played this game I was a little put off by its difficulty. I mean, I played it like six times and kept failing at the end, eventually just giving up. However, going back and playing it again I now realize how well the author manages to balance the difficulty, providing a difficult story without being overly brutal. I'd highly recommend this game, however, make sure you keep in mind that it is somewhat difficult and you will fail a few times.

### 5/5 — Wish it continues

*2015-05-15*

I LOVED THE WHOLE THING

### 5/5 — Greats

*2013-06-03*

First of all I love every game made by these people. This one is no exception. Good game great story line and good choices. I don't know why people are complaining its hard after four play through a I won every time. The end is a little in satisfying though

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2013-04-04*

Amazing story line, love the interactive component, and enjoy the humor. A little hard.

### 5/5 — Not the best one they've made

*2013-03-11*

So I've bought almost all of these games (or all the ones I want) from this company and I think they need to lower their price on all their games to 1.99$ because people just dont want to pay 3$ or 4$ for a game that's just not that popular even if I love this game I they lowers their price they would get way more buyers

### 5/5 — Help

*2013-02-01*

Anyone have any idea on how to win against the enemy?

### 5/5 — A true gem in the App store

*2013-01-17, version 1.1.0*

My first ever review...I am a lazy bum, but this game sure needs some much needed appreciation and well deserved praise.

If you do not care for audiovisual destraction from your core gameplay this is the game for you. Its all tough (and really tough) decisions that matter (sometimes immediately sometimes they hurt you weeks later) and story. I do not know how far I am into this game but it keeps me constantly on my toes....I always feel like "Oh I have messed up my last fight...this will hurt next battle"...the feeling to be one step away from total extinction and "game over your whole race died" is something I only experienced in big budget titles....to see it in such a small little game....is pure joy.

If you are on the fence:
The games throw a problem at you not always with a simple solution.
You are given the choice how to react...and the outcome varies greatly
Think Battlestar Galactica Season one without the plotholes and shiney cg

I will check out the other games from "Choice of Games and sure hope there is something similar to this (even a sequel/prequel /retcon will do)

Overall verdict:
(^.^)=b

Edit:
I am playing this on iPad 3
