### 3/5 — PD not as accurate as it should be

*2026-03-14, version 6.1.1*

2 other apps agreed within 1 mm of what my eye Dr gave me. This one was off by 4mm which is enough to mess up a prescription. Also getting it to calculate was overly fussy.

### 1/5 — Wasted my time

*2026-01-10, version 6.0.0*

Doesn’t work

### 1/5 — Useless.

*2025-11-30, version 5.62.0*

I couldn't get past the initial glasses test. The tilting part failed every time. My husband tried too and failed. Maybe it because I was using sunglasses? But I tried like 10 times so I don't know if it was user error or what but I did it perfectly most of the times and it still failed.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2025-11-27, version 5.62.0*

The app would not scan anything It asked me to scan and I’m following all the instructions and that annoying voice that repeats every 5 seconds is ear splitting

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work with 17

*2025-10-09, version 5.62.0*

Not compatible with iPhone 17

### 3/5 — Stores facial image data

*2025-09-28, version 5.62.0*

Sorry but I can't support this app storing facial images or measurements even if they are obfuscated.

### 4/5 — Do I use 63 or 62.5

*2025-08-31, version 5.62.0*

Omg, I did this 10 times in a row, same location, same lighting, everything! 5 of them said 63.0 and 5 of them said 62.5 so which one do I use! Haha
Reading reviews some people were concerned about information issues or privacy issues! I used my drivers license because my state is one that has the magnetic strip on the back! I guess that I didn’t think much of it when I did it but honestly, all of the information on your drivers license except for the license number is public information anyway! But using the license number is only going to get you the public information anyway! I’m just glad that I didn’t use a credit/debit card! But the developers response to those reviews say that they don’t use that information anyway but if it’s a concern, use your drivers license if your state puts the strip on the back!

### 1/5 — Maybe IOS but not iPad

*2025-08-27, version 5.62.0*

100% useless. App says to switch camera to portrait mode to continue. I did that a dozen times and the app requested camera access nor did it ever connect to the camera, thus, I could never get past the start page

### 1/5 — Way too much hassle

*2025-08-27, version 5.62.0*

The process of measurement is too cumbersome and complex. Easier to just go over to an eye clinic or measure yourself with old school tools or use other apps.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2025-08-03, version 5.62.0*

The qr code was easy to find and scan but the app gives no feedback if the card scan is working for the prescription scanner. After 10 minutes of failing I gave up on trying to make it work. Awful.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2025-07-31, version 5.62.0*

Really easy to do but you have to close out of the app in order to start again. There should be an option to restart or close

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Frame scanning tool times out

*2026-08-15, version 6.4.2*

Frame scanning tool times out. Cannot complete the process.

### 1/5 — Extremely frustrating

*2026-08-14, version 6.4.2*

After a half hour of struggling to get my lenses lined up perfectly, the app tells me my prescription is out of scope.

### 1/5 — Concept great. Results no.

*2026-08-05, version 6.4.2*

Constantly needs to restart due to lost connection to computer. Doesn’t want my lens to be scanned without me paying

### 1/5 — First review I’ve left in 5 years.

*2026-06-28, version 6.4.2*

No matter what I change, it keeps repeating the same instructions at me over and over again. Eventually it just bugs out and kicks me from the app.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-05-30, version 6.3.0*

Image is blurry when it looks just fine

### 1/5 — User Frustration

*2026-05-22, version 6.3.0*

This really doesn’t work well. Who knows how accurate the PD thing is (I don’t have the measurement from my doc), but it seemed at least within the same ballpark when I tried to measure manually. It was a horribly frustrating process, though.

I tried the lens scanner to see how accurate that was for comparison. It made me restart soooooo many times, and when I finally got through it all and it was calculating, it said there was an error and that I’d need to restart. It had already been 30 minutes at that point, so I gave up.

The process was physically difficult for me, and I’m relatively able bodied, and my prescription is pretty mild. I can’t imagine how others would do this, especially those who can’t see without their glasses.

### 1/5 — Multiple issues

*2026-05-10, version 6.3.0*

First, the app forces me to measure my PD when I only need to measure glasses. If I have 10 pairs of glasses to check (2 times each to reduce errors), I am forced to measure my PD 20 times, even though I know it perfectly fine. There is no way to skip the PD. Second, I am already extending my arm as far as I can but the app keeps insisting that I move my glasses closer to the monitor... Closer! Closer!! Closer!!! Sorry, my arm isn't made of rubber, it doesn't stretch to an infinite length. Third, on certain glasses it just goes into an infinite cycle of "something went wrong". And repeats the instructions, as if it is my fault that something went wrong. On those glasses that it does measure, there is usually a small error, but I guess it's unavoidable, due to the limitations of the method.

### 1/5 — DID NOT WORK!

*2026-04-08, version 6.2.0*

Bro I was at the results page and it kept saying oops lost connection or something like that and then it took forever to give results and ended not giving

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-04-06, version 6.2.0*

Terrible app! Very glitchy would have me scan the card on my computer screen not even be done reading it tell me to take my glasses off then go back to telling me to scan my computer screen again. Finally got through the first test started to analyze it for 60 seconds moved me to the second test something “went wrong” hit the back option in the corner then froze on the analyzing screen again had to restart. Did that multiple times will just call my eye doctor and get my prescription instead of trying to do this again. Thank God it was a free app and it only wasted my time and not my money.

### 1/5 — 0 Stars!!!!!

*2026-03-19, version 6.2.0*

If I could give zero stars I would. First I’ll start off by saying that I couldn’t even get past the card scanning thing and then on top of that, after using the site, I started getting random viruses on my computer. Don’t waste your time just go to an actual scanning machine at an eye doctor or something!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

*2025-11-26, version 5.62.0*

I needed a PD measure and it’s so easy to use!

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2025-10-14, version 5.62.0*

Thank you for existing. The only thing I will recommend (if possible) is to please add a “back” button, since I was stuck for a moment and couldn’t go back so had to close and open again. But the add is really easy to use. Thank you.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2025-09-03, version 5.62.0*

I used it just to test if it really worked and it really got the same values as my prescription! Nice kudos to the developer

### 5/5 — No need to freak out

*2025-08-27, version 5.62.0*

My optometrist didn’t provide my mono PD! Turns out, I can use this app and easily get it! I’m so grateful!

### 5/5 — So easy

*2025-08-01, version 5.62.0*

I used the app so I could order glasses online. My optometrist would only provide PD if I bought glasses from them. Used this app, so happy.
