Whereas it you to just delete after you’d spent time curating the list in preparation for a trip to the store, now it doesn’t delete but requires real effort to retrieve the list. Hard to find. Needs a simple, visible button for one swipe access. Otherwise a pretty good app. Far better on iPad or other large screen than a cellphone. Needed dark mode to make it easier to read. You can’t even see the daily specials anymore. Do they still have them? Also, it’s completely pointless to sign up for the rewards because you don’t get any. Been signed up for a year, and I don’t have a single point. Why even have a program? I thin done shopping here. Where before it was sometimes glitchy, the app has become unnavigable. I don't even have a cart attached to the cart icon- just a shopping list. A shopping list that I have to press three separate icons/places on the screen to be able to delete an item. What a stupid update. I just want to be able to add items to my cart and use that cart as my list as before. I've been stuck using the Fresh Market cart on the Instacart app of all things. ### 1/5 — Broke a good thing *2026-05-07, version 16.0.2* It’s been weeks now and the Shop function still isn’t working… Also, it’s a pain not to be able to stay loggid in. Feels way more busy and chaotic. Even something as simple as viewing past orders takes way too many taps to achieve. But now so broken Says login, doesn’t like my login. Says reset password, get email, sends me to website, reset password. App still doesn’t like my login. I quit for the night. Try again today, says I’m suspicious and they blocked my account. Get email to unblock, goes to website but wants to open app that won’t open. The customer experience has been completely ruined. Either they have a minimal training or the cash registers are not well calibrated and then, it is more worrisome, like a concerted effort to cheat the customers. Example: every Wednesday, the promo is 2 packs of croissants for the price of one. I know that. Why don’t they? They ring it wrong, same with fruit by the piece. I have complained many times, been refunded the difference but… I have talked to the manager too but sorry does not cut it. I used to place a weekly order, now when I try it puts me into this loop where I fill my basket, then it asks me to sign in, then it opens a new browser and my basket is empty. I fill it, it asks me to sign in, and repeat…again and again. When I buy my Thanksgiving catering does the bar code for pickup show up in my app? No. So silly. No help option in the app, either. What is going on, Fresh Market? At least the primary functionality of being able to shop is broken. When I try to Shop or look at my Order History the app just throws an error message “something went wrong while loading the shop”. This has been going on since I installed the app on my iPhone 13 with iOS 26.5.2. ### 1/5 — Unhappy Customer *2026-07-12, version 16.0.5* This is the worse update you did to the app. The older app was much more easier to use. This new update i log in and it keeps bringing me back to fill in my name and phone number over and over again. Due to the aggravation I have been going through with your app, I found it necessary to delete the app totally. I am not going to sit for hours signing in over and over again. It’s beyond frustrating to complete my shopping, taking four times the amount of time that it used to. It glitched frequently before. But now it’s taking forever to refresh. When I look at an item, then go back to where I was scrolling it puts me back at the top of the page. There’s no intuitive navigation. I don’t know what yall did. Props for at least attempting to improve I guess? It takes too long to open and will not refresh within an appropriate amount of time. It was great prior to this update. The shopping cart no longer appears at the bottom of the app. You can no longer communicate in the app directly with the shopper. This was super convenient before the change. They direct you to Instacart. I will not be shopping or using this app any longer. It is completely worthless. It's too bad, because I really love this store. I don't want an account with Instacart, so I will have to shop somewhere else. Always kind, smiling, courteous and very helpful. Last week, my cashier, Hope, mentioned a great deal on Wednesdays through The Fresh Market program where if you buy six bottles of wine, you get a 20% discount as well as a lovely wine bag. The Fresh Market rewards program is absolutely stellar. I’m probably in there three or four times a week to take advantage of the excellent daily deals. Their rotisserie chicken, pizzas, fresh meats are always top quality and tasty. You cannot beat the prices and the rewards that they give you on top of it.
