## What is The Fushigi Bureau?

The Fushigi Bureau takes the cases nobody else will file.

You are its newest detective - two rooms above a chandler's shop, in the lantern quarter by the harbor. Misaki signs you on, hands you a glass, and lets you work. Nothing solves itself on your behalf here: you unfold the complaint, rub the wax, read the ledger, arrange what you find, and file your own verdict. When a deduction is wrong, the evidence simply re-opens - no timers, no fail states, no punishment. Just you, the desk, and the quiet until it makes sense.

Start free with the Intake, a small and kind first case that teaches the desk. Then open any of three full case files:

The Salt Widow - a drowning claim, and a tide that ran the wrong way.
The Lamplighter's Ledger - a bookkeeper dead over an honest correction.
The Porcelain Room - a sealed room missing exactly one thing.

Buy a single case, or take the whole casebook at a saving. If a thread will not come loose, you can call in a favor and an old contact will point the way - but the solving is always yours.
