Sadly the print edition is no longer printed in Gadsden, either Rome, Georgia or Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Sadly the social media app is going away from local news. Most online readers want to read the obituaries before they go to bed so they can plan their day, yet local obituaries are not available until midnight. I know the information is available earlier and it would help readers make arrangements to attend funerals that they were not aware of. Many people are busy when they first wake up and don't have the time to read the paper until later. ### 1/5 — Waste of time *2017-04-30, version 4.22.220026421* This is a very poorly designed app. It's much easier to go to the webpage for Gadsden Times than this. There is no search function on the app! Perhaps there is somewhere, but here is my rule of thumb: if I open an app and cannot figure out how to use it in five minutes it is a failure and gets deleted. The only reason I would go to the Gadsden Times is to search for something specific, which I cannot do on this app. ### 3/5 — Denver *2015-12-14, version 4.16.100014130* The current app is working on my iPhone. The previous version upgrade did not. I wish there were a way to see and read some articles in the Living section. I have friends who write those and enjoy keeping up with local happenings as I live in Denver now. Perhaps I'm missing the menu choice on how to access this area now.
