The worse aspect is no more letters to the editor OR Sundy OP-ED Columns Gay and essentially Transgender issues are always presented from only one side, and as if they represent the majority opinion. The Gainesville Sun is basically a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. Their articles about Climate Change assume we all agree. The Sun does have great local Florida issues. Local weather, Florida Athletics, and local entertainment are why I get the paper. Mainly less local news. Much more city news was produced mainly because you had a city beat writer that put out commissions agendas from county to city. A few bits of information have made it through but a vast majority has not. These actions protect the powerful in our are to push the boundaries and beyond. Everyone I speak to are not happy in the direction our area is going.
