### 1.3 — 2026-08-17

NEW WAYS TO PLAY
• Daily Cullzle — one shared challenge board every day at culls.com/daily. Same setup for everyone, no sign-in needed. Track your streak and share your result.
• Four bots to choose from — Chip, Cedar, Slate, and Crimson, from friendly beginner to a bot that genuinely thinks ahead. Pick your challenge when you start a bot game.
• Instant Replay — rewatch any finished game move by move, with a scrubber and autoplay. Share a finished game with anyone; they don't need an account to watch.

FAIRER, SMOOTHER MATCHES
• Quick Match is a real queue now: two players searching get paired instantly. If nobody shows within a minute you get a shareable open game instead.
• Unjoined quick-match games expire after 48 hours, and you can cancel any waiting game yourself.
• Fixed: winning while trapping your opponent no longer forces you to finish a cull first — a winning move wins, immediately.
• Fixed: leaving a pass-and-play game mid-match no longer loses it. It saves automatically and offers Resume Pass & Play.

YOUR NAME, YOUR STATS
• Choose your display name in Settings — no more being "player_4zr2…" to your opponent. Your name shows on game seats, brackets, and notifications.
• Rankings are live — a new Rankings screen on iOS, plus the leaderboard on the site. The culls board counts PvP culls only, so there's no farming the bot.
• Stats: wins/losses, win rate, streaks, your record vs humans and vs the bot, and your tournament history.

LOOK & FEEL
• The board got bigger — every space is about 11% larger on the same screen, and the CULLS letters on the board are red now.
• Winning feels like winning: a full-screen banner, a bigger confetti blast, a victory fanfare, and stronger haptics. There's a Sound toggle in Settings, and the fanfare respects your silent switch.
• A refreshed home screen with a bigger CULLS mark, a proper My Games button, and touches of red.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-05

A brand-new home: one PLAY NOW button, four ways to play — a friend, Quick Match, the bot, or Pass & Play. Board spaces now have names (A1–K5): the move log and cull confirmations read like a real board game. Culling is crystal clear — the board spotlights the chip you're about to cull, and you confirm before it happens. CULLS is now on iPad. Plus: losses against the bot now show as losses, and dozens of polish fixes.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-01

Tournaments are now first-class:
• Brackets up to 128 players with clean round labels
• Stalled and abandoned matches now close out fairly — no more tournaments that never end
• Tournament creators can cancel a running event
• Series scores and game numbers always match reality

Gameplay, by popular demand:
• Confirm before you cull — no more accidental captures
• White dot marks the last move played
• Bigger, easier-to-tap board spaces
• A proper celebration when you win (and a clearer result when you don't)
• Share and Resign are no longer next to each other

New-player polish, straight from your feedback:
• Tap a friend to start a game — right from the home screen
• A clear way to invite someone new with a shareable game link
• A house button on every screen, so home is always one tap away
• "Your move" is now impossible to miss
• Rematch works everywhere — including against the bot — and confetti only lands when you actually win
• Friends activity shows just the games between you and your friends
• Looks right even when your phone is in Dark Mode, and the keyboard always gets out of your way

Fresh look:
• The official CULLS chip logo on the board and a new app icon
