There were switches in the screen to allow it that didn’t work. I tried to find the app in my app list in settings to allow the camera and microphone there, but it wasn’t listed in my settings list of apps at all. So I rebooted my phone, app still not listed, still unable to progress past the splash page to change the settings. Next I tried deleting and reinstalling the app - same issue as before.
